3. Initial use

Take the appliance out of the packaging and remove all the packaging material. Clean the appliance as described in "Cleaning and Care". Do not use any aggressive or strong cleaning agents.

Allow the appliance to dry completely and connect the mains plug to a properly installed socket. The appliance is now ready for use.

5. Initial use

1. Place the container below the lower opening of the ice crusher Connect the appliance and shift the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.

Note: The ice crusher works only when the container is placed correctly.

1. To start crushing the ice, fill the inlet funnel at most up to the upper edge with ice cubes.

Caution! Do not try to push the ice by hand or using some other object into the blades!

If a large cube gets stuck in the crushing unit such that the blades cannot reach it, switch OFF the power and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Then pour hot water down the inlet funnel till the ice melts or falls down. Connect the unit back into the socket, switch the power ON and continue to put the cubes through the inlet funnel.

6. Cleaning and Care

Unplug the power cord from the mains outlet. Clean the base unit with a slightly dampened soft cloth.

Pour hot water through the upper inlet funnel to rinse it after each use.

Caution! Do not use liquids to clean the base unit and the power connections. Do not use any aggressive, strong or abrasive cleaning agents.

Never immerse the appliance in water.
