Basic safety precautions should always be followed when using electrical appliances, including the following:

3. Initial use
Take the appliance out of the packaging and remove all the packaging material. Clean the appliance as described in "Cleaning and Care". Do not use any aggressive or strong cleaning agents.
Allow the appliance to dry completely and connect the mains plug to a properly installed socket. The appliance is now ready for use.
4. Product details

- Place the container below the lower opening of the ice crusher Connect the appliance and shift the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
Note: The ice crusher works only when the container is placed correctly.
- To start crushing the ice, fill the inlet funnel at most up to the upper edge with ice cubes.

Caution! Do not try to push the ice by hand or using some other object into the blades!

Then pour hot water down the inlet funnel till the ice melts or falls down. Connect the unit back into the socket, switch the power ON and continue to put the cubes through the inlet funnel.
6. Cleaning and Care
Unplug the power cord from the mains outlet. Clean the base unit with a slightly dampened soft cloth.
Pour hot water through the upper inlet funnel to rinse it after each use.
Caution! Do not use liquids to clean the base unit and the power connections. Do not use any aggressive, strong or abrasive cleaning agents.
Never immerse the appliance in water.

7. Important safety guidelines for this appliance
- Check the appliance for damage every time before use. Do not operate the appliance if the cable, the plug or the appliance show any visible signs of damage.
- Do not make any modifications or repairs to the appliance.
- Caution! The blade unit is very sharp!
- Plug the appliance only into a properly installed power socket!
- Never leave the ice crusher unattended; keep it out of reach of animals and children wherever you use or store it.
• Children should not play with the appliance.

- Do not move the appliance when it is being operated.
- Ensure that the power cable does not come into contact with any hot surfaces.
- If you want to pull out the plug from the socket, pull by holding the plug and not the cable.
- Never touch the plug with wet hands.
- Protect the appliance against fire.
- Do not immerse the cable, the plug or the entire appliance in water or any other liquids.
- Switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug when you want to replace any accessories or to move the appliance to another location.
- Remove the power plug from the socket when the appliance is not being used, during cleaning and assembly.
- If the power cord is damaged, this must be replaced by the manufacturer or by a qualified person in the event of a defect, in order to prevent damage.

8. Safety instructions and disclaimer
Never try to open the appliance to repair or make modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not waterproof, therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow.
Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in any other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in the user manual.
