- Store the blankets in its original packaging and keep it in a clean, dry place.

- Fold the power cable carefully to avoid cable breaks.

- Do not crease the blankets by placing items on top of it during storage.

- The appliance can be used by children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years under supervision and with the control always set to minimum temperature value.

- The cable and control unit of the appliance can give rise to risks of entanglement, strangulation, tripping or treading if not correctly arranged.

The user shall make sure that excess ties and electric cords shall be ar- ranged in a safe way.

  • Only position 1 level is for continuous operation.
  • Use the appliance only for the purpose described in this user manual.

3. Initial use

Take the appliance out of the packaging and first remove all the packaging material. Make sure that the power cable of the switch unit is connected to the plug on the electric blanket. Then lay the electric blanket out and plug the power cable into a properly installed socket.

4. Usage and function

Note: It is advisable to switch on the product 15 minutes before use. The heating process takes about 5-15 minutes.

  1. Place the blanket in the desired position.
  2. Slide the switch from position 0 (off) to position 1 (Heat setting 1). After a few minutes you can clearly feel the blanket heating up. The power indicator LED starts glowing.
  3. If you want to adjust a higher temperature, slide the switch to position 2 (Heat setting 2) or position 3 (Heat setting 3).

  4. If the electric blanket becomes too hot, select a lower heat setting.

  5. To switch off the appliance after use, slide the switch to position 0 (off). The power indicator LED stops glowing which means that the appliance is switched off.

Note: The appliance switches off automatically after about 180 minutes in each heat setting.

5. Cleaning and Care

Follow the safety instructions strictly while cleaning.

Before you start cleaning the electric blanket, disconnect the mains plug and allow the appliance to cool down completely.

  • The electric blanket has a removable switch unit. Disconnect the switch unit from the electric blanket by pulling the cable from the plug on the electric blanket.
  • You can wash the electric blanket at max. 30 °C in the gentle wash cycle of the washing machine. Use a mild detergent. After use, let the electric blanket cool down for at least 10 minutes before washing it.
  • You can then clean the electric blanket using a dry soft brush.
  • Small stains can be removed with a damp sponge and some mild liquid detergent. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or stiff brushes. This could damage the appliance.
    • After washing, lay the electric blanket on a flat surface and allow it to dry completely. Use the electric blanket again only after it is completely dry.
  • Finally connect the switch unit cable to the electric blanket.

Spread the blanket out for storage without placing anything on top in a clean, dry place.

Avoid bending the blanket a lot! Objects should not be placed on the blanket during storage.
