4. Initial use and operation

Take the appliance out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Before connecting the appliance to the mains, make sure that the "Heat settings switch" is in "O" position.

Then connect the plug to a properly installed socket.

Set the "Heat settings switch" to the desired position to turn the appliance on. The following table describes the respective functions of the corresponding switch position:

Follow the safety instructions when cleaning. Once the appliance is switched off, you can clean the surface using a damp, soft cloth.

Do not use cleaning agents, solvents or scouring agents for cleaning. Use only a soft cloth to clean the appliance.
