Bracket Installation Antenna Installation
(FAP-433G only)
The FortiAP mounts on a ceiling using the provided T-rail mounting brackets which come in two standard sizes: 1.43cm (9/16in) and 2.38cm (15/16in).
- Select the bracket for the T-rail size: 1.43cm (9/16in) or 2.38cm (15/16in)
- With the ports facing you, slide the bracket left to right

This radio transmitter (IC: 72908-3916705646) has been approved by Innovation, Science and Economic Development. Canada is operate with the antenna types listed below, with the maximum permissible gain indicated. An antenna types no included in this list that have a gain greater than the maximum gain included for any type listed are strictly prohibited for use with the device.
The maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the band 5725-5850 MHz shall be such that the equipment still consists with the e.i.p. limits specified for coin-to-point and non-pain-to-point operation as appropriate.

This device has been designed to operate with an antenna having a maximum gain of 5.65 dBi for 2.4GHz, 5.94 dB for 5GHz and 5.50 dBi for 6GHz. Antenna having a higher gain is strictly prohibited per regulator of IED. The required antenna impedance is 50 ohms.
Under SHD regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and maximum gain lossary gain approval for the transmitter by ISO. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent is locally radiated power (e.g. p) is not more than that necessary for successful communication.
The radio transmitter (IC: 72809-3915T05649) has been approved by ISED to operate with the antenna types listed below with the maximum permitted gain and required antenna impedance for each antenna type indicated. Device shall not be used for control of or communications with unmanned aircraft systems. Operation shall be limited to indoor use only. Operation on oil platform, automobile, train, maritime vessels and aircraft shall be prohibited except for large aircraft flying score 3.045 m (10,000 pc).
