2. Important safety instructions

• Read all instructions given in this user manual carefully before using the appliance.
• The can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or are instructed how to use the appliance in a safe manner and understand the risks involved.
• Please do not immerse in water or other liquids because there is a risk of short circuits.
• Never operate damaged appliances and

• The appliance is meant exclusively for your personal use and for the intended purpose. This appliance is not intended for commercial use.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the milk frother.
• Do not use the device outdoors or without milk in the container!

• Do not insert any objects and/or fingers into any openings in the appliance!
• Turn off the appliance before disposal, remove the batteries and dispose of the appliance at an official disposal site.
• This product can be used by children above 8 years, if they are adequately supervised or have been instructed properly on how to use the appliance safely and have understood the associated risks.
• Children should not clean and maintain the appliance, unless they under supervision.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid to protect against electric shock and injury to persons.

• Let the appliance cool down before cleaning, as soon as you fix or install parts.
• The use of accessories, which are not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

• Do not misuse the appliance for anything other than the intended purpose to prevent possible injury.
• Hold the milk frother by the handle only!
• For the safety of small children, do not leave any packaging components (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc.) lying around. Caution! Danger of suffocation!

4. Before You Start

• Unpack the carton carefully and keep all the packing materials until you ensure that the product is complete and working properly.
• Remove all packaging materials and foils. Retain them for later use. Check that the appliance has been delivered completely and is in proper condition.
• Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth completely and allow it to dry completely.

5. Initial use

Inserting/replacing the batteries

1. To change the batteries, open the battery compartment at the top of the appliance by unscrewing it.
2. If you have already inserted batteries, remove the old batteries and insert two suitable new 1.5V AA batteries according to the correct polarity (+/-). Pay attention to the small sticker inside the battery compartment and insert the batteries accordingly.
3. Close the battery compartment by placing the battery compartment cover and tightening the screws.

Frothing milk

1. Fill the milk to be frothed in a tall container. Make sure that the container is not filled by more than a third.
2. Immerse the whisk into the container until it almost touches the base.
3. Turn on the appliance by sliding the "ON/OFF" switch to the "ON" position.
4. Make slow circular motions until the desired degree of frothing is reached. Move the beater slowly and evenly up and down during the process. The whisk should always remain in the milk.
5. Turn off the appliance by sliding the "ON/OFF" switch to the "OFF" position.
6. Remove the beater from the milk once it stops.
7. Clean the appliance as described under "Cleaning and care".

• We recommend the use of milk with at least 3% fat content.
- For a better result, heat the milk before frothing. Please note that the milk must not be warmer than 70°C.

6. Cleaning and care

Note: You can clean the whisk by hand.

1. Ensure that you have read the safety instructions before cleaning.
2. For manual cleaning, hold the whisk in the rinsing water and turn on the appliance. Lift the whisk from the rinsing water only after the appliance has been switching off and has stopped. Finally, rinse the whisk with clean water.
3. Clean the housing of the appliance with a soft, slightly moist cloth. For stubborn dirt, please clean using a mild detergent. Make sure that liquids do not get into the housing.
4. Dry all parts thoroughly before reusing the appliance or storing it.

Note: Do not use 1.2V AA rechargeable batteries, as the appliance may not function properly because of the lower voltage.

8. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Never try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not waterproof, therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for any damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it was subject to impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or modifications to the appliance, which are not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The appliance should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the appliance may be changed without special prior notice.

9. Disposal instructions

In line with the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic devices should not be disposed of along with domestic waste. Their components must be separately sent for recycling or disposal, as improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment. According to the electrical and electronic equipment act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) all electrical and electronic devices to the manufacturer, the point of sale, or public collection points at the end of their service life. The relevant local laws regulate the details in this regard. The symbol displayed on the product, in the user manual or/and on the packaging refers to these regulations.
