How to insert batteries into the Emerio lint shaver?

Open the battery compartment cover located at the back of the device. Insert two AA batteries following the indicated polarities (+/-). Close the cover. Ensure the batteries are correctly inserted for the device to work.

How to adjust the cutting height?

Turn the height adjustment cap slightly located on the shaver head to select one of the three available cutting heights. This allows adapting the cut to different types of fabrics.

How to turn on the device and change speed?

Press the On/Off button once to turn on the device at the lowest speed. Press a second time to switch to the higher speed. A third press turns off the device.

When should the lint reservoir be emptied?

Empty the removable reservoir when it is about 80% full. To do so, turn off the device, slide the reservoir downwards and empty it. A too full reservoir can reduce the device's efficiency.

How to clean the blades of the lint shaver?

Before cleaning, remove the batteries. Gently pull the adjustment cap, then remove the shaver head. Remove the blades by holding the plastic part (caution, blades are sharp). Use the provided brush to clean the blades, the head and the internal compartment. Reassemble by aligning the protruding part with the groove on the cap.

Can the device be used on worn clothing?

No, never use the device on clothing while being worn. This could cause injury. Always place clothing on a flat surface before use.

Is the device waterproof or can it be used in the bathroom?

No, the device is not waterproof. Do not use it near water, do not immerse it and do not store it in a bathroom. Avoid any contact with water for safety reasons.

What to do if the device does not work after inserting batteries?

Check that the batteries are inserted in the correct direction (+/-) and that they are new or sufficiently charged. Ensure the battery compartment is properly closed. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

What is the warranty period and what does it cover?

The device is covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. It covers manufacturing defects but not damage due to misuse, unauthorized repair, or normal wear of parts. Keep your receipt.

How to dispose of the device at the end of its life?

Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual.

In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

1. Read and save these instructions. Attention: pictures in the IM are for reference only.

2. For home use only. Do not use for industrial purposes. Do not use the appliance for any other purposes than described in this instruction manual.

3. Do not take this product to a bathroom or use near water.

4. Do not leave the appliance switched on when not in use.

5. Do not use other attachments than those supplied.

6. Do not attempt to repair, adjust or replace parts in the appliance.

7. Do not place or store the appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a bath or sink.

8. Do not use as a shaver for human body.

Safety instructions for battery

1. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.

2. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.

3. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance and safely disposed of.

4. If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the batteries should be removed.

5. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

USE

1. Open the battery compartment cover. Insert two AA batteries (not included). Please follow correct battery polarities otherwise the set will not work. Close the battery compartment cover.

2. Choose one of the three cutting heights: Slightly turn the height adjustment cap to set your desired trim height.

3. Place the clothes on a flat surface so that the appliance can be moved smoothly. Press the on/off button to turn on the appliance; a second press activates a higher speed level. Press the button again to turn off the appliance.

4. When the lint container is 80% full, turn off the appliance, slide the container down and empty it.

Caution:

Do not press strongly on the clothes as the head of the lint remover can be damaged.

Do not use the appliance for removing lint on terry cloth, fluffy fabrics, embroideries, etc.

While removing lint, smooth out any gathers to avoid damaging the fabric.

Be careful when using near buttons, zippers, joints, stitches, glued prints, etc.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Remove batteries before cleaning or if the unit is not used for a long time.

2. Clean the detachable lint container regularly.

3. Wipe over the body using a soft damp cloth. Do not use hard abrasives or cleaners.

4. Carefully pull the height adjustment cap outwards and then rotate the shaving head off the body. Take out the blades by holding the plastic area, don't pull the blades. Clean the blades, shaving head and inner compartment of the device with the soft brush. Note: Be careful, the blade is sharp.

After cleaning, replace the blade, shaving head and height adjustment cap. The protrusion on the appliance must fit into the recess in the height adjustment cap.

1. Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. Never hold the device under running water.

2. Never use solvents, abrasive cleaners, hard brushes, metal or sharp objects for cleaning.

without the receipt you can't claim any form of warranty. Damage caused by not following the instruction manual, will lead to a void of warranty, if this results in consequential damages then we will not be liable.
