The following are important notes on the installation, use and maintenance; save this instruction manual for future reference; use the equipment only as specified in this guide; any other use is considered improper and dangerous; therefore, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible in the event of damages caused by improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.

Before use, ensure the equipment is undamaged; if in doubt, do not attempt to use it and contact the authorized service center; do not leave packing materials (i.e. plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, staples, etc.) within the reach of children as they are potential sources of danger; always remember that they must be separately collected. Make sure that the rating information given on the technical label are compatible with those of the electricity grid; the installation must be performed according to the manufacturer's instructions considering the maximum power of the appliance as shown on the label; an incorrect installation may cause damage to people, animals or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible thereof.

If it is necessary to use adapters, multiple sockets or electrical extensions, use only those that comply with current safety standards; in any case do not exceed the power consumption limits indicated on the electrical adapter and / or extensions, as well as the maximum power shown on multiple adaptor.

Do not leave the unit plugged; better to remove the plug from the mains when the device is not in use. Always disconnect from power supply if you leave it unattended.

Cleaning operations should be carried out after unplugging the unit.

If the unit is out of order and you do not want to fix it, it must be made inoperable by cutting power cord.

• Do not allow the power cord to get closer to sharp objects or in contact with hot surfaces; do not pull it to disconnect the plug.
• Do not use the appliance in the event of damage to the power cord, plug, or in case of short circuits; to repair the product only address an authorized service center.
• Do not handle or touch the appliance with wet hands or bare feet. Do not expose the appliance to harmful weather conditions such as rain, moisture, frost, etc.. Always store it in a dry place.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

• Before using the unit for the first time, carefully wash all the container, as may come in contact with food.

WARNING: do not plug both power cords (12V and 230V) to the electrical power outlet.

To improve efficiency:

• Do not open the lid more often than necessary. Do not leave the lid open for too long.
• Always close the lid with the handle.
• Insert food and beverage already fresh.

Don't immerse appliance in water or liquids. In any case, avoid splashing of water or liquids.

Keep the unit away from flammable materials, heat, cold spots and steam. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or hot wind.

Allow adequate space at the top, near the air ventilation outlet. Do not obstruct in any way the ventilation outlet to prevent overheating and to avoid any damage.

If your cooler emits an unusual odor or stops working, unplug it and call a service center.

Close the lid gently.

Do not obstruct the air circulation inside the unit: do not block the ventilation outlet placed in front of the cooler.

Do not abruptly change from cold to warm function and vice versa, but turn the product off and wait for 30 minutes before operating again.

Do not turn the product upside down during use.

Check the AC/DC power cords are undamaged before plugging it.

HINTS FOR A PROPER USE

This refrigerator is designed to preserve hot or cold food at the right temperature. To get the best results, we recommend placing the foods and/or beverages already hot or cold.

Proper storage of food depends on the appropriate use of the product, food packaging, correct temperature and food hygiene. To ensure good indoor ventilation and therefore the correct storage, it is recommended not to overfill the cooler.

Before placing the food, close them in jars or bags to preserve the flavor and prevent odors from mixing.

• Outdoor lunches and dinners, picnic at the lake, in the mountains or to the sea; ideal for camping.
• Useful for travel, taxi, truck or bus, motor home and caravan; during holiday drives and on the boat during a fishing trip.
• Ideal in the office, on the playground, hotel, tent, basement, in cottages or bungalows.

OPERATING

Check that the Hot/Cold switch (10) is OFF before carrying on the installation.

Move the handle (3) on the front of the main body (1) and lift the lid.

Fill the cooler and close the lid.

Take the handle (3) and move it on the rear of the lid; the lid locks

12V DC OPERATING

Place the unit away from heat sources, inside the car, in the back or whereas the 12V DC auxiliary socket is located. Note: to operate the cooler, the car must be powered on.

Connect the DC cable (7) into the cigarette lighter socket.

230VAC OPERATING

Place the unit in an appropriate place, away from heat sources.

Connect the power supply cord AC (8) to the wall socket.

Move the switch (9) to ECO or MAX mode.

Turn on the unit by moving the selector switch (10) to HOT if you want to use the keep warm function: the operation red lamp (11) will light on.

Turn on the unit by moving the selector switch (10) to COLD if you want to use the refrigerating function: the operation green lamp (12) will light on.

POWER SELECTOR

The appliance has two function powers that you can choose with the selector (9)

In mode ECO the temperature is regulated to have the lowet possible power consumption.

Cooling mode (COLD)

The MAX power activates the appliance at the highest power. Select it when the ambient temperature is high.

The ECO power activates the appliance at low power allowing to save power consumption. Select this mode when the ambient temperature is lower or when the food in the container is already fresh enough.

Heating mode (HOT)

The MAX power activates the appliance at the highest power. Select it when the ambient temperature is low. The ECO power activates the appliance at low power allowing to save power consumption. Select this mode when the ambient temperature is high or when the food in the container is already hot enough.

CLEANING - Unplug the unit and wait until the complete cooling down of each part before starting cleaning operations.

For any reason, do not throw water within the main body. Be very careful not to spill liquids on the fan (2) during the cleaning operations.

Regularly clean the ventilation slot (2 and 4), or any time you notice dust. To clean the outer part, the inside of the body (1) and handle (3), use a sponge or a soft cloth lightly moistened with warm water and non-abrasive detergent. Carefully dry all parts before operating.

Once you have finished using, it is advisable to roll up the electric cords (5) and (6) and close the compartment trays.
