Ion professional hair dryer

1. The operating instructions are to be followed and stored in a safe place in order to avoid damage from improper use. You can request a copy of the operating instructions by calling + 49 (7194) 95000, sending an e-mail to [e-mail] or visiting www.fripac-medis.de.
2. The device is only to be used for hair drying purposes. Any other use is not permitted.
3. The curling iron is not a toy!
4. Make sure that the voltage indicated on the label of the current iron corresponds to the supply voltage.
5. The device must never be used in the bathtub, shower, over sinks filled with water or with wet hands. The device must always never be used in the proximity of water contained in bathtub, sinks or other containers and must never be submerged in water.
6. If the hair dryer is used in a bathroom then it is always to be unplugged after use, as the proximity to water poses a threat, even if the device is turned off.

The installation of a residual-current device (RCD) with a rated tripping current of no more than 30mA in the bathroom circuit is recommended as an additional form of protection. Please consult with your electrician.

1. Always turn off the device after use. Always keep the curling iron unplugged if you are not using it or are cleaning it.
2. This device can be used by children ages 8 and up and by those with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are under supervision or have been instructed on the safe use of the device and have understood the dangers resulting from it.

Protect your children: We advise against this device being used by children under 8 years of age, as they often do not have the necessary motor skills and mental capacity required for its proper use. They also lack an understanding of the dangers involved with the use of the device such as the potential for accidentally burning themselves on its hot surface.

1. Children are not permitted to play with the curling iron. Children are not permitted to clean or service it without supervision.
2. The device must not be operated if there is damage to the mains cable

or the plug or if the device shows damage. If there is a defect and/or a malfunction, immediately turn off the device and unplug it. If the mains cable, the plug or the device itself are damaged, never attempt to repair the device yourself, as improperly executed repairs can result in significant dangers for the user. Please contact your speciality retailer.

1. Unplug the device before cleaning or servicing it. See more on this in the section titled, Care and Maintenance'.
2. Never pull on the mains cable or on the device itself when unplugging the device.
3. Do not hold the hair dryer by the mains cable to carry it.
4. The A-weighted emission sound pressure level is under 70 dB(A).

OPERATION

Electrical data: 220-240 VAC, 50 / 60Hz 2100 W, Protection Class II, double insulated.

Plug the mains cable of the device into the socket.

The hair dryer is equipped with two toggle switches with the following functions:

red switch | cold air

red switch II warm air

red switch lll hot air

black switch 0 device switched off

black switch | half blowing power

black switch II full blowing power

The two switches can be used in combination to achieve additional intermediate temperatures so that the right temperature can be set for any purpose. The cold air button on the front side of the handle can be used to generate cold air in any switch setting as long as the button is pressed. This enables even more stability to be added to the hair when blow drying.

Unplug the device after use.

ION TECHNOLOGY

Millions of tiny electronically charged particles treat the hair as you are drying or styling it: negative ions similar to those found in the air after a summer storm. They add volume and a silky shine to hair. They also smooth the surface of the hair and significantly reduce static charge. This makes it significantly easier to style hair. The hair also dries faster, even at lower temperatures, which not only protects hair but also lowers your electricity bill.

OVERHEATING PROTECTION

The device is equipped with overheating protection. If the device overheats then the heating will be interrupted and only cold air will continue to flow. After it has cooled off then the heating will automatically switch on again. Nevertheless, you should ensure that the air inlet and outlet openings are completely clear.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Unplug the device before cleaning or servicing it.

Wipe off the external parts of the hair dryer with a damp cloth as needed and make sure that no fluid enters the device. The device has a permanent metal filter. This is to be cleaned regularly, i.e. at least once a week. Otherwise it can lead damage to the motor and heating due to too little airflow. To clean it, twist the filter cover to the left and remove it. Clean the metal filter thoroughly with a brush so that the air openings are completely clear. Then place the filter cover over it and twist it to the right to attach it to the device again.

DISPOSAL

WARRANTY

For this device you have a 2-year warranty for exclusively private use and a 1-year warranty for commercial use starting from the date of purchase. We pledge to repair at no charge any parts that are damaged as a result of a manufacturing or material defect. The warranty does not apply if a third party has made changes to or attempted to repair the device. Any damage caused due to the improper use of the device or failure to clean the metal filter regularly is not covered by the warranty either. The receipt of purchase must be mailed in together with the device in order for the warranty to be processed smoothly.

This device meets the requirements of the Low-Voltage Directive (LVD), the Act on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) of Equipment, the Directive on Energy-Related Products and the requirement of the RoHS Directive and the REACH Directive.
