Safety instructions

  • Please read the instructions before starting to use the hand mixer. This is for your own protection, and it also helps you to avoid damaging the device.
  • Save these instructions so that you can find answers if you have questions later.
  • If the hand mixer is given or sold to someone else, please ensure that you also pass along the instructions to the new owner.
  • Before using the hand mixer, you need to carefully remove all packaging and inspect the hand mixer to see if it is damaged. If it is damaged or if you are not sure whether it might be, please contact the store that you bought it from.
  • The hand mixer is only intended to be used with foods, including kneading dough, whipping fluids (for example, fruit juice) and cream and its only intended for household use or similar conditions. Using it for any other purpose is not permitted and may be dangerous. The manufacturer/importer cannot be held liable for damage that is caused due to incorrect operation or inappropriate use of the hand mixer.

Dough hooks:

  1. Attach dough hook (a) to the largest socket.
  2. Attach dough hook (b) to the smallest socket on the hand mixer. Make sure that dough hook (a) and (b) are clicked into place and locked (see the illustration above).

Caution:

- It is only dough hook (a) that is equipped with a marking ring. Do not switch the accessories around!

  • The dough hooks can be used to knead dough - for example, dough for dumplings or noodles.
  • Releasing the dough hooks: Make sure that the speed setting (A) is set to "0" Then press the release button.

Whisks:

  1. Attach the whisks to the sockets.
  2. Make sure that they click into place and are locked in position.

Caution:

  • The whisks can be used to whip cream, eggs, mayonnaise, etc.
  • Releasing the whisks: Make sure that the speed setting (A) is set to "0" and press the release button.

How the hand mixer is used

  1. Attach the accessories (dough hooks or whisks).
  2. Put the ingredients in a suitable bowl/container.
  3. Plug the hand mixer into the socket.
  4. Select an appropriate speed setting (1,2,3,4,5) to process the ingredients.
  5. When the ingredients are properly blended, turn off the hand mixer by selecting "0" on the speed setting. Now remove the hand mixer from the container.
  6. Remove the plug from the socket.
  7. Remove the ingredients from the container.

Caution:

  • The hand mixer needs to be unplugged when the accessory is attached/removed.
  • If you select the TURBO function, the hand mixer will automatically be set to the highest speed (5).

Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the device before cleaning it. Otherwise, you risk getting an electric shock!
  2. Clean the device with a moist rag and, if you like, use a mild cleaning agent.
  3. Never lower the motor parts into water or other fluids! You can get an electric shock if remnants of fluids touch the live parts of the device when in use.

Please note: food that contains natural colouring agents can result in staining the plastic components. These stains have no impact on the functionality of the device, however. For whisks and dough hooks that can be put into a dishwasher, we recommend rubbing them lightly with vegetable oils before washing them.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE

There is a 2-year warranty period if your new product stops working due to manufacturing or material faults which begins from the documented date of purchase. The warranty covers materials and the cost of labour. When inquiring about service, please state the product name and serial number. You can find this information on the type plate. You can write down the information here in these instructions so that you have them at hand. This makes it easier for the service technician to find the correct spare parts.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Faults and damage that are not due to manufacturing or material issues
  • Damage caused by failure to properly maintain the device - including failing to clean it
  • Fire and/or water damage or moisture damage on the product
  • Damage caused during transport if the product was transported without proper packaging
  • Damage caused by the use of unoriginal spare parts
  • Damage resulting from failing to follow the instructions on how to use the device
  • If the device has not been set up/assembled as specified in the instructions
  • If non-professionals have installed or repaired the product
  • Batteries or any other parts subject to normal wear and tear

Damage during transport

If the product is damaged during transport and this is discovered when the retailer delivers the product to the customer, this is exclusively a matter between the customer and the retailer. In cases where customers have handled the transport of the product themselves, the supplier shall not be liable for any potential damage during transport. Any damage caused during transport must be reported immediately and no later than 24 hours after the product has been delivered. If not, the customer's claim will be rejected.

Unnecessary service

If the product is sent in to be serviced and it turns out that the fault could have been fixed independently by following the product's instruction manual, the customer will need to pay the service fee.

Commercial purchases

Commercial purchases are all purchases of devices that are not intended to be used in private households but instead intended to be used for commercial purposes (in restaurants, cafés, canteens, etc.) or intended to be rented out or otherwise used by multiple users in turn.
