Can I blend hot ingredients?

No, do not put hot ingredients in the bowl. Let food cool to room temperature before blending.

How long can I use the appliance continuously?

Maximum continuous use is 2 minutes. After each cycle, let the appliance cool down for at least 1 minute.

What should I do if the blades do not turn?

Check that the bowl is correctly mounted on the motor unit (you should hear a click). Also make sure the food is cut into sufficiently small pieces.

How do I clean the blades?

The blades are very sharp. Wash them by hand with water and a little detergent, then dry with a cloth. Do not put them in the dishwasher.

Can I wash the bowl in the dishwasher?

The glass bowl can be washed in the dishwasher, but we recommend hand washing to preserve the markings. The blades and lid must be washed by hand.

What should I do if a burning smell comes out?

During the first uses, a slight burning smell is normal and disappears after a few cycles. If the smell persists, check that you are not overloading the appliance.

The appliance suddenly stops during use

This may be due to motor overheating. Unplug the appliance and wait 30 minutes before using it again. Make sure to follow the recommended operating times.

Can I blend frozen foods or large pieces?

Yes, but cut the food into medium-sized pieces. For ice cubes, use the pulse function. Do not exceed the indicated maximum capacity.

How to assemble the bowl correctly?

Place the bowl on the motor unit and turn it clockwise until you hear a click. The measuring cup and lid must be properly in place before plugging in the appliance.

Where can I find spare parts?

Contact the authorized Flama after-sales service. Parts such as the bowl, blades and lid are available. Keep the proof of purchase for warranty.

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time and keep them for future reference.

FLAMA shall not be liable for any use that is not in accordance with the instructions.

Please check that the supply voltage of your electrical system corresponds to the voltage on the appliance's rating plate.

This appliance may be used by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental, or by persons with lack of experience and knowledge on how to use it, if they are supervised or they have received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the possible risks involved.

This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and the cord out of the reach of children.

Please disconnect the appliance by removing the plug from the power socket after each use and when cleaning, if it is left unattended, and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning operations.

Blades are sharp and can cause damage. Proceed with caution and avoid direct contact with the cutting edge.

Pay particular attention when handling the blades, during assembly and disassembly operations, when emptying the mixing bowl, and while cleaning.

Always use the appliance with the measuring cup in place. Do not remove the measuring cup or lid before the blades have completely stopped moving.

Caution: do not place hot ingredients in the mixing bowl. Before preparing food, allow the food to cool down for a few minutes.

Be very careful when handling hot food as you can burn yourself.

The maximum filling capacity of the mixing bottle must not be exceeded (use the graduation marks on the bottle as a reference).

This appliance was designed to be used for a maximum of 2 minutes. When this limit is exceeded, take a cool-down break before using it again, so as not to overload the motor.

Do not use this appliance to mix glutinous food or substances, such as jam or marmalade.

Do not use the appliance if it is not working properly.

If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced at an Authorized Flama Technical Assistance Service in order to avoid a hazard.

Any intervention other than cleaning must be carried out only by authorized FLAMA agents.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before using the appliance, clean all parts.

The cleaning operation should always be done with the appliance disconnected from the electrical outlet.

CAUTION - The blades should not be washed in the dishwasher as it may damage them.

Cleaning the cup and blades

Detach the blender cup from the motor unit.

Unscrew the blades from the blender cup.

The blades are really sharp. Handle them with care.

Wash the blades with water and a little detergent. Clean with a dry cloth and let dry.

After they are dry, screw the blades onto the blender cup.

Cleaning the appliance and remaining parts

Do not use sharp utensils, cleaning agents, or aggressive or abrasive solvents.

Never immerse the motor unit, cable, or plug in water or other liquids, and do not put it in the dishwasher.

Wash the lid and measuring cup with water and a little detergent. Clean with a dry cloth and let dry before storing.

Use and care

Do not use the appliance if all parts are not properly assembled.

Do not operate the appliance with ingredients and without the lid and measuring cup, as the ingredients will be projected out of the blender cup.

Do not use the appliance if the accessories or consumables mounted have defects. Replace them immediately.

Do not use the appliance without load.

Do not use the appliance if the speed/mode selector is not working.

Do not use the appliance tilted or inverted.

Do not force the appliance's working capacity.

Respect the MAX level indication.

This appliance is designed exclusively for domestic use, not for professional or industrial use.

Store the appliance out of the reach of children and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities, or with lack of experience and knowledge.

Do not use the appliance for more than 2 minutes at a time. In the case of cycles, always respect the rest periods between cycles of at least 1 minute. In no case is it convenient to have the appliance running for longer than necessary.

If you use too many cubes or if they are too large, you will not get satisfactory results.

After each maximum period of use, let the appliance cool to room temperature before using it again.

WARNING: Do not use the appliance if the cup has cracks or damage.

OPERATION

Do not leave the device unattended when it is in operation, so that you can intervene quick-kly in case of danger.

Before first use

Unpack the device and place all parts on a horizontal surface.

Wash the blender jar, blender lid and measuring cup in warm soapy water, rinse and dry. Never immerse the motor unit in water to avoid the risk of electrical shock.

Caution: the blades are very sharp, handle with care.

Usage

Before assembling the blender jar, make sure the power cord is unplugged and the Spe-ed/Mode Selector is in the 0 position.

Place the blender jar on the motor unit andturn the blender jar clockwise until a clickis heard. The jar is in the correct position.

NOTE - make sure the blender jar is properly mounted on the motor unit. If the blender jar is not properly mounted, the appliance will not work.

Place the food inside the blender jar. Do not exceed the maximum capacity of the blender jar to avoid spillage.

Note - the appliance has a safety system thatdoes not allow the appliance to operate ifthe blender jar is not correctly placed.

Cover the blender jar with the lid and measuring cup, make sure both are properly positio-ned and plug the appliance into the electrical outlet.

Using the speed/mode selector, select the speed you want:

1: Minimum speed

2: Maximum speed

0: Stop/Stop

P: Pulse: intermittent operation for perfecting preparations at maximum speed.

When the food is as you want it, turn the speed/mode selector to the "0" position to stop the appliance. Wait for the blades to come to a complete stop before removing the jar.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem cause solution
The appliance does not work after turning the ON/OFF button.	The appliance is not plugged into the mains.	Connect the appliance to the mains.

1. Keep the proof of purchase (receipt) for this product carefully. When a repair is made under these conditions, the technician will require proof of purchase. This assistance can only be provided once you have proven, with the proof of purchase, that your appliance is within the warranty period.
