CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before using the appliance, clean all parts.

The cleaning operation should always be done with the appliance disconnected from the electrical outlet.

CAUTION - The blades should not be washed in the dishwasher as it may damage them.

Detach the blender cup from the motor unit.

Unscrew the blades from the blender cup.

The blades are really sharp. Handle them with care.

Wash the blades with water and a little detergent. Clean with a dry cloth and let dry.

OPERATION

Do not leave the device unattended when it is in operation, so that you can intervene quick-kly in case of danger.

Before first use

Unpack the device and place all parts on a horizontal surface.

Wash the blender jar, blender lid and measuring cup in warm soapy water, rinse and dry. Never immerse the motor unit in water to avoid the risk of electrical shock.

Caution: the blades are very sharp, handle with care.

Usage

Before assembling the blender jar, make sure the power cord is unplugged and the Spe-ed/Mode Selector is in the 0 position.

Place the blender jar on the motor unit andturn the blender jar clockwise until a clickis heard. The jar is in the correct position.

NOTE - make sure the blender jar is properly mounted on the motor unit. If the blender jar is not properly mounted, the appliance will not work.

Place the food inside the blender jar. Do not exceed the maximum capacity of the blender jar to avoid spillage.

Cover the blender jar with the lid and measuring cup, make sure both are properly positio-ned and plug the appliance into the electrical outlet.

2: Maximum speed

0: Stop/Stop

P: Pulse: intermittent operation for perfecting preparations at maximum speed.

When the food is as you want it, turn the speed/mode selector to the "0" position to stop the appliance. Wait for the blades to come to a complete stop before removing the jar.
