Frequently Asked Questions - HM3 Duronic

What is the maximum flour capacity for the bowl?

For the SM3 model (with bowl), the maximum flour capacity is 800 g. The HM3 model does not have an integrated bowl.

How to install the accessories (beaters, hooks)?

Insert the beater with the ring into the left opening (larger) and the beater without ring into the right opening (smaller). The kneading hooks are installed in the same way.

What to do if the appliance does not work while plugged in?

Check that the plug is correctly inserted into the wall outlet and that the power supply is active. Make sure speed 0 is selected before plugging in.

Why does flour get into the machine during mixing?

This may be due to incorrect installation of accessories or excess flour (more than 800 g in the SM3 bowl). Check the installation and reduce the quantity.

How to clean the mixer?

Always unplug the appliance. Clean the motor body with a soft dry cloth. Accessories, bowl and stand can be washed with water. Do not use abrasive products or metal brushes.

Can I immerse the mixer body in water?

No, never immerse the motor body or power cord in water or any other liquid. Only accessories, bowl and stand can be immersed.

What is the recommended continuous use time?

Use the mixer for a maximum of 3 minutes, then let it cool for 15 minutes to ensure durability and performance.

Can I use accessories from other brands with this mixer?

The use of accessories not supplied by Duronic for this model is not recommended and could damage the appliance.

How to eject the accessories?

Press the ejection button on the mixer to release the beaters or hooks.

How to remove the mixer from the stand (for SM3 model)?

Press the unlock button on the mixer to detach it from the stand.

Operation:

Note:

A. The stand mixer body is not required if the total weight is less than 170g.
B. The maximum capacity for flour is 800g.

1. The mixing bowl should be set in the holder (SM3)
2. Install the beaters or hooks into the Hand Mixer body.

Parts & Assembly

Note: Make sure the hooks are installed in the correct holes.

1. Lock the Hand Mixer (HM3) into the Stand (SM3)
2. Make sure the speed button is on "0" before plugging into mains.
3. There are 5 speeds for choosing. The details are as follows (flour is used as an example).

• Speed 1 will work 30-50 seconds to mix water and flour

• Speed 2 will work 30-50 seconds mix water and flour
• Speed 3 will work 1-2 minutes to make dough
• Speed 4 will work 2 minutes to make soft dough
• Speed 5 will work 3-4 minutes to make smooth dough
8. Once it has finished working, please press the unlock button and remove the hand mixer.
9. Press the eject button to remove the attachments.

Precaution

	Make sure the household voltage corresponds with the voltage on the rating label (220V - 240V).		Please use 6a socket single alone. sharing the socket with other appliance may lead to heating or fire.
Make sure the plug pins align with the socket when inserting as incorrect alignment may damage the pins.		Switch off the socket and gently remove the plug from the wall outlet.
	Do not pull the power cord. Always hold the plug firmly and pull out of the socket.		Do not use any metal objects or harsh materials near the mixer as it may scratch the surface.
Always disconnect the appliance from the socket if it is not in use, left unattended or being assembled/disassembled.		Hooks should be installed in the correct holes.
Please stop the mixer after every 3 minutes of operation and allow it to cool down for 15 mins before using again. This will ensure the long lifespan of the product.		The beater and dough hook must not be used at the same time.
Please make sure the mixer is switched off before attaching the beater/dough hooks.		Any accessories not supplied by Duronic specifically for this model are not recommended for use.

Any appliance repairs must be made by a qualified technician only.	The appliance must be kept out of reach of children.
Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.	Never submerge the appliance under water.
Please keep hands, clothes, or any materials away from the rotating parts while the appliance is in operation.	Do not operate the appliance if the adapter or cord is damaged. Please send in to a qualified technician or repairs centre.
This appliance is made for household use only.	The appliance must not be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a responsible person in a safe way and they understand the hazards involved.

Cleaning and maintenance
Always make sure the appliance is switched off and plugged out before any cleaning or maintenance.	Always clean the motor and housing of the appliance with a soft dry cloth.
The attachments, tray and mixing bowl can be immersed in water for cleaning.	Do not use a metal or nylon brush to clean the product surface. Also avoid using harsh chemical cleaners so it does not damage the material of the product.

Analysis and trouble shooting

Fault Analysis Solution
Flour goes into the machine when mixing.	The attachments are installed incorrectly.There is more than 800g flour which exceeds the capacity.No Power	Install the attachments correctly.Switch the appliance off and remove some flour.
The appliance does not work even when plugged in.	No Power Check to see	if the appliance is correctly installed and the household voltage corresponds with the rating label.
