Keep the manual in a safe place and pass it on to any subsequent owner to ensure that the information contained therein is available at all times. Caution: to avoid accidents and injuries: Ensure that no children or animals are in the vicinity of the working area. Dispose of the packaging material correctly. Fuels and lubricants may be harmful to health. Avoid direct contact with skin and the inhalation of fuel fumes. Wash wet calluses with soap and water. We recommend the use of acid and lye resistant protective gloves. Before use, ensure that the device is assembled correctly, in order to avoid fluid leaks. Do not suck up chemicals, acids, lyes, lacquers or paints. Take care when removing fluid that has leaked. - After changing the fuel or oil, start the filled machine at a distance of at least 3 m from the filling location. Correct storage: - Keep fuels and lubricants safely and out of reach of children. - There must be no danger of any leaking fuel or fumes coming into contact with sparks or open flames. Sources of sparks may include e.g. electrical equipment. - Use suitable and authorised containers for storing the fuel and lubricant. Unpack the oil pump set and check it for completeness: 1 Catch tank, 1.6 litres 2 Suction hose for oil (ø 10mm) 3 Universal lock stopper 4 Funnel 5 Pump cylinder 6 Fuel suction hose (ø 8mm) with hose adapter
The oil pump set is fitted with a manual pump cylinder. Moving the pump handle up and down causes a vacuum to be generated and the fluid to be pumped will be pumped through the suction hose and into the catch tank. The universal lock stopper allows the use of catch tanks with openings of different sizes.
1. Attach the lock stopper (3) to the catch tank (1).
2. Screw the pump cylinder (4) onto the brass thread of the lock stopper.
3. Insert the suction hose (2) through the lock stopper (3) into the catch tank.
Initial Operation | Cleaning Pumping Procedure Ensure that the catch tank is not overfilled. Take care when removing fluid that has leaked.
1. To pump, insert the suction hose into the open tank or into the engine through the dipstick hole.
2. Move the pump handle up and down several times. The fluid to be pumped will collect in the catch tank.
Keep the device clean. Clean the surfaces with a soft cloth. Use a soft cloth to wipe off oil or fuel that has leaked. Dispose of the soiled cloths correctly (cf. “Disposal / Environmental Protection” chapter). Do not clean or rinse the equipment with water. The wastewater could enter the environment or the sewage system.EN 8 FZS 2505 E
7. DISPOSAL / ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle the device, accessories and packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Fuels and lubricants are water-polluting products. They must therefore not enter the ground, water or sewage system. Dispose of old oil, fuel residues and soiled cloths in an environmentally friendly manner. Collect old oil and fuel residues in sealed containers and take them to a pollutant collecting point. Ask our service centre about this.
