Why is my freezer not working?
Check that the appliance is plugged in and the voltage matches 220-240 V. Ensure the socket is powered. If the issue persists, contact customer service.
The internal temperature is too high, what to do?
Check that the door is properly closed and the thermostat is set correctly (MIN -16 °C, NORMAL -20 °C, MAX -25 °C). Avoid opening the door too often or for too long, and do not place hot food inside.
Why is my freezer making a strange noise?
Ensure the appliance is level and not in direct contact with a wall or object. A slight humming sound is normal due to the compressor.
How to reverse the door opening direction?
Unplug the appliance. Remove the caps, screws, and hinges. Place the door on the other side, then reassemble the hinges and adjustable feet following the manual instructions.
How often should I defrost my freezer?
Defrost as soon as the ice layer reaches about 5 mm in thickness. Turn off the appliance, unplug it, open the door, and place a cloth. Never use sharp objects.
What to do in case of a power cut?
Do not open the door. Frozen food will remain frozen for a few hours. If the outage lasts, consume thawed food quickly.
How to clean my freezer?
Unplug the appliance. Use a damp cloth with a mild detergent for the interior and drawers. Dry all surfaces. Vacuum dust from the back once a year.
What is the storage time for frozen foods?
It varies from 1 month (bacon, milk) to 12 months (dried fruits, raw beef). Refer to the chart in the manual for precise times.
Is the R600a refrigerant dangerous?
R600a is flammable but environmentally friendly. If a leak occurs, move the appliance away from flames and ventilate the room. Do not puncture the cooling circuits.
What is the warranty period of the appliance?

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Clean the device on a regular basis. When doing so, keep the following guidelines in mind. Do not clean the appliance while it is still plugged in.

  • Do not use abrasives to clean the appliance, as this will damage it.
  • Use a mild detergent to clean the freezer drawers. Afterwards, dry everything carefully.
    • Empty the appliance and clean the inside with a damp cloth.
  • The accumulation of dust at the back of the appliance can cause the appliance to stop working optimally and consume more power. Carefully remove the dust with a soft brush at the back of the unit once a year.

DEFROST

You should defrost your appliance when an ice layer of about 5mm begins to form. Defrosting will take several hours. Turn off the appliance, unplug the power cord and open the door. The appliance will begin to defrost. We recommend placing a mop under the appliance. When the appliance is completely defrosted, dry everything again.

Note: Never use sharp or pointed objects to remove ice. The appliance contains refrigerant gas. If the pipes are accidentally perforated, the appliance will stop working and the warranty will also be void.

When the appliance will not be used for an extended period of time, unplug the appliance. Leave the door partially open, this will prevent the formation of mold and foul odors.

MOVE THE DEVICE

  • If the unit is turned off for any reason, wait 10 minutes before turning it on again. The pressure in the cooling system should be stabilized before turning the unit on again.
  • Turn off the appliance and unplug it. Remove all food products. Also remove or secure all mobile parts (drawers, etc.) in the freezer to prevent shock.
  • Move the appliance and install. If the appliance was held on its side while being moved, even if very briefly, leave the appliance in the upright position for at least 10 minutes before turning it on.
  • Your appliance uses isobutane (R600a) as a refrigerant. Notwithstanding that R600a is an environmentally friendly and natural gas, it is flammable. Therefore, be very careful while moving or installing your device to avoid damage to the cooling elements. In case of a leak caused by damage to the cooling elements, move your freezer away from open flames or heat sources and air the room the appliance is in for a few minutes.

TIPS

  • Do not freeze food back when it has already been defrosted.
  • Do not put beverages with bubbles in the freezer.
  • Be careful when consuming popsicles just out of the freezer to avoid freezer burns.
  • Do not take anything out of the freezer with wet hands.
  • The freezer makes noise when the compressor pumps the refrigerant around. This is normal.
  • Do not put hot foods in the freezer.
    • Make sure the food is covered.
  • Do not compress the food too much; air should still be able to circulate around it.
  • Do not leave the door open too long. Also make sure that the door is always closed properly again.
  • Label the food with the date to check the shelf life in the freezer.
