The vacuum cleaner is the perfect appliance for all those small cleaning jobs. Cars, boats, inaccessible and hidden corners and small areas can be cleaned quickly and easily with this appliance. And the permanent filter system means you do not have to change any filter bags any more. Just empty the container and clean the filter from time to time.
Before first Use
Take the appliance and all parts out of the packing. Keep packing away from small children. There is danger of suffocation!
Assembly and Operation
-
Insert the permanent filter (J) into the dust collector (A). Important! Never operate the appliance without the filter.
-
Attach the dust collector to the motor unit. It must snap into place with an audible click.
-
Connect supplied accessories to vacuum cleaner according to intended application. Fasten the required nozzle to vacuum cleaner. The brush nozzle (D) is very suitable for vacuuming dirt on vehicle floor and seats and in the boot. The slot nozzle (I) is particularly suitable for areas that are not easily accessible such as corners, edges and narrow gaps.
-
With the suction hose (K) you can increase your reach. Simply insert the hose into the vacuum and attach the nozzle into the hose.
-
Insert the plug into the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle or boat. Please make sure that the supply voltage is 12 V____
-
Switch on the vacuum cleaner with the ON/OFF switch (G) and push the switch forward. Make sure the vacuum cleaner's air outlet (E) does not get blocked while using the appliance.
-
After use, pull back the ON/OFF switch to turn the appliance off. Then remove the plug from the cigarette lighter socket. Never remove the plug by pulling the cable. Store any accessories not being used in a safe place.
Emptying the Dust Collector
- Switch the vacuum cleaner off and remove the plug from the cigarette lighter socket.
- Press the button (C) to detach the dust collector (A) from the motor unit. Pull the permanent filter (J) out of the motor unit and empty the dust collector (A).
- Clean the permanent filter (J) by brushing and knocking. If the filter is very dirty, it can be washed clean in tepid soap suds. Make sure that it has dried completely before putting back.
Hint
■ We recommend cleaning the filter over a dustbin.
- Check the filter for damage before fitting back into appliance. A damaged filter could cause lasting damage to the appliance.
Fuse
- The vacuum cleaner is protected with a 10 A fuse that is situated inside the plug. If the fuse is activated, change the fuse as described.
