Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.

Important: This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and the risks involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Never leave the appliance and its cord unsupervised and within reach of children less than 8 years old or irresponsible persons, especially when it is plugged into the wall or when it is cooling down.

BEFORE THE FIRST OPERATION

To clean any residue left from the manufacturing process, the first heated water should be discarded.

OPERATION

  • Always remove the mug from the power base before filling it or before any operation.
  • Open the mug by lifting the lid.
  • Fill the mug with water, between MIN and MAX inside marking.
  • Put the mug onto the power base and turn it toward the steam marking at the bottom to select the temperature.

Choose for a temperature range between 80-99°C.

Choose for a temperature range between 40-50°C.

Choose the intermediate position for a temperature range between 60-70°C.

Note: make sure to leave the lid lock (3) open whenever the mug is connected to the power base.

  • Plug into the wall socket and switch on. The pilot light will turn on, indicating that the appliance is operating.
  • The travel mug will switch off automatically when the liquid reaches the desired temperature. However, you can stop it at any time by pressing the ON/OFF switch.
  • The keep-warm function automatically heats up your beverage to the selected temperature during the next 30 minutes.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Unplug the appliance and let it fully cool down.
  • To clean the outer surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  • To remove stains or scale from the inner surfaces of the mug you can use a soft brush.
  • Never use abrasive products.
  • Never immerse the mug or the power base in water nor place it in the dishwasher

Descaling : To remove scale from the mug, use available products made especially for this purpose. Make sure to use a type recommended for plastic kettles.
