ENGLISH IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions. Important:This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and the risks involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Never leave the appliance and its cord unsupervised and within reach of children less than 8 years old or irresponsible persons, especially when it is plugged into the wall or when it is cooling down. ❑ Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance. ❑ Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. ❑ Never use if the cord or the appliance shows any signs of damage. competent qualified electrician (*) in order to avoid all danger. ❑ Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions. ❑ Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Never put it in the dishwasher. ❑ Never use the appliance near hot surfaces. ❑ Never use the power base outside and always place it in a dry environment. ❑ Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. ❑ Stand the appliance on a dry, flat and steady surface. ❑ Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it. ❑ Remove the mug from the power base when filling it. ❑ Always fill between the minimum and maximum marks. ❑ When using the appliance, make sure the lid is closed correctly. Never raise the lid when the appliance is in use. ❑ Make sure the appliance is unplugged and completely cooled down before cleaning and storing it.TKG TMUG 1000

❑ Should the symbol be indicated on a certain surface, you need to be careful when handling the product. This symbol means “CAUTION, this surface may get very hot during use”. (*) Competent qualified electrician: after- sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. To clean any residue left from the manufacturing process, the first heated water should be discarded.

• Always remove the mug from the power base before filling it or before any operation.

• Open the mug by lifting the lid.

• Fill the mug with water, between MIN and MAX inside marking.

• Put the mug onto the power base and turn it toward the steam marking at the bottom to select the temperature. Choose for a temperature range between 80-99°C. Choose for a temperature range between 40-50°C. Choose the intermediate position for a temperature range between 60-70°C. Note: make sure to leave the lid lock (3) open whenever the mug is connected to the power base.

• Plug into the wall socket and switch on. The pilot light will turn on, indicating that the appliance is operating.

• The travel mug will switch off automatically when the liquid reaches the desired temperature. However, you can stop it at any time by pressing the ON/OFF switch.

• The keep-warm function automatically heats up your beverage to the selected temperature during the next 30 minutes.TKG TMUG 1000

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the appliance and let it fully cool down.

• To clean the outer surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

• To remove stains or scale from the inner surfaces of the mug you can use a soft brush.

• Never use abrasive products.

• Never immerse the mug or the power base in water nor place it in the dishwasher Descaling : To remove scale from the mug, use available products made especially for this purpose. Make sure to use a type recommended for plastic kettles.

In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with the directive.

Our product does not dispose of a standby mode as the electric kettle switches off completely immediately after the boiling is finished and as a consequence does not consume electricity!
