ENGLISH: SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The following are important notes on the installation, use and maintenance; save this instruction manual for future reference; use the equipment only as specified in this guide; any other use is considered improper and dangerous; therefore, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible in the event of damages caused by improper, incorrect or unreasonable use. Before use, ensure the equipment is undamaged; if in doubt, do not attempt to use it and contact the authorized service center; do not leave packing materials (i.e. plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, staples, etc.) within the reach of children as they are potential sources of danger; always remember that they must be separately collected. Make sure that the rating information given on the technical label are compatible with those of the electricity grid; the installation must be performed according to the manufacturer's instructions considering the maximum power of the appliance as shown on the label; an incorrect installation may cause damage to people, animals or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible thereof. If it is necessary to use adapters, multiple sockets or electrical extensions, use only those that comply with current safety standards; in any case do not exceed the power consumption limits indicated on the electrical adapter and / or extensions, as well as the maximum power shown on multiple adaptor. Do not leave the unit plugged; better to remove the plug from the mains when the device is not in use. Always disconnect from power supply if you leave it unattended. Cleaning operations should be carried out after unplugging the unit. If the unit is out of order and you do not want to fix it, it must be made inoperable by cutting power cord.8 - Do not allow the power cord to get closer to sharp objects or in contact with hot surfaces; do not pull it to disconnect the plug. - Do not use the appliance in the event of damage to the power cord, plug, or in case of short circuits; to repair the product only address an authorized service center. - Do not handle or touch the appliance with wet hands or bare feet. Do not expose the appliance to harmful weather conditions such as rain, moisture, frost, etc.. Surfaces, other than functional surfaces may develop high temperatures. Since temperatures are perceived differently by different people, this device should be used with CAUTION. Hold the appliance exclusively to grip surfaces intended to be touched. - This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops,9 offices and other working environments; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; farm houses, bed and breakfast type environments. - The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system. - Before every use, unroll the power cord. - Use original spare parts and accessories only. - Do not subject the product to strong impacts, serious damages may result. - Do not use near or under flammable materials (like curtains), heat, cold spots and steam. GENERAL INFORMATION To avoid risk of burns, when the unit is working, only touch the knob and the handle since other parts may become very hot. When you first use the unit, the grill plate may emit some smoke. Do not worry because after few uses the smoke will disappear. Handle with care freshly-cooked food. CAUTION: after turning off the product, plate remains hot for several minutes and should never be touched. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running. Once finished using the appliance, unplug it and wait for the complete cooling of each part before storing or cleaning it. Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids. Do not leave it under the stream of tap water. In any case avoid water or other liquids sliding on the cooking surfaces. Only use a soft sponge to clean the plate. This unit helps you to make different types of crepes and pancakes in a simple and fast way. - Remove any packing material and any stickers attached to the product. - Clean the cooking plate (1) with a soft, slightly damp sponge and dry with a napkin. - Choose a suitable place to use the equipment, leaving sufficient space around the product to prevent heat damage the walls or other nearby objects. - Connect the electric plug to a suitable power outlet. - Put the crepe maker over the base (4), linking the connector (6) - Switch on the appliance by pressing the power button (2): the function indicator will light and the plate will begin to heat up. - After 4 minutes, the plate is ready for cooking. CAUTION: After use, turn off the appliance by pressing the power switch (2) and wait for the plate (1) to completely cool before storing the unit.
- Mix the flour and the egg, add water slowly, beat the mixture with a whisk, making sure that the consistency of the batter is creamy. - Pour the mixture into the bowl (5), connect the unit and pre-heat for about 3 minutes. - Turn the pancake maker and dip the plate in the bowl with the mixture, wait a few seconds for the batter to stick to the plate (1). - Extract the crepe maker from the container and link it to the connector (6) on the base (4). Wait about 20 seconds and when the color of the mixture changes, the pancake is ready. - Turn unit on a dish to arrange the crêpe, drop it if necessary using a wooden spoon. Garnish as desired. Note: cooking time may differ according to the ingredients. RECIPE Egg crêpes Ingredients: 250g of flour, 3 eggs, ½ Lt of milk, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 60g of sugar, 40g of melted butter. Place the ingredients in a container and mix for 30 seconds; place the batter at the center of the container and continue to stir the mixture for about 30-60 seconds until it becomes smooth. CLEANING - Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and let the appliance cool down completely before starting cleaning operations. Do not immerse unit in water or leave it under the jet of tap water. In any case, prevent water or other liquids to flow on the surface. Do not use abrasive or metal sponges for cleaning. Clean cooking plate (1) and body by using a slightly damp sponge and dry them thoroughly. To clean the bowl, use dishwashing detergents. TECHNICAL FEATURES
