How to recharge the Series 7 shaver?

Use the special power cord provided. Connect the connector to the shaver, then to the mains socket. Full charge takes approximately 1 hour, and a quick charge of 5 minutes is enough for one shave.

Can I use the shaver in the shower?

Yes, the shaver is waterproof and can be used in the shower. Make sure to unplug it before any water cleaning.

How to clean the shaver properly?

After each use with foam or gel, rinse the shaver head under hot water while running. Use the provided brush for stubborn residue. Dry the shaver before storing.

When to replace the foil and cutter block?

It is recommended to replace the foil and cutter block every 18 months or as soon as you notice a decrease in shaving performance.

What to do if the foil is damaged?

Do not use the shaver if the foil is cracked or broken, as this could cause skin injuries. Replace it immediately with an original Braun part.

How to remove the battery at end of life?

Disassembly to remove the built-in rechargeable battery must be carried out only by an authorized Braun service center. Any personal attempt renders the device unusable and voids the warranty.

Is the shaver under warranty?

Yes, Braun offers a limited 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering material and manufacturing defects. The foil and cutter block are excluded from this warranty.

Can I use shaving foams or gels with this shaver?

Yes, the Series 7 is compatible with shaving foams and gels. After use, rinse the shaver head thoroughly with hot water to remove any residue.

How to use the pop-up trimmer?

Slide the switch on the side of the shaver to release the trimmer. Use it to trim sideburns, mustache or long hairs. Put it back after use.

What if the shaver does not turn on?

11. To recharge the battery, only use the detachable power supply provided with this appliance. If the appliance is marked D-492-C, only use Braun power supplies coded 492-XXXX.

Avoid direct contact with eyes and hairline.

When the distance comb is removed, the trimmer should not be pressed into the skin. Risk of injury!

The body trimmer (06-BDT) must only be used with comb attachment in delicate areas.

Important

Do not open the appliance! The built-in rechargeable batteries can only be replaced by an authorized Braun Service center.

Only at the end of the product's useful life, disassemble the rechargeable battery for disposal reasons: Disassemble the housing as shown in the battery removal pictures, remove the rechargeable battery and recycle or dispose of properly, according to local guidelines. Caution: Disassembling the appliance will destroy it and invalidate the warranty.

The shaver head needs cleaning under hot running water after each foam or gel usage! The brush needs to be cleaned with cool running water after each usage! Switch the shaver on and rinse until all residues have been removed. For hygienic reasons, do not share this appliance with other persons.
