- Never fill the kettle above the maximum or minimum level as overfilling it may result with splashing boiling water.

  • Caution! Burns risk. The kettle housing heats up during operation and maintains a high temperature even after the device is turned off. Do not touch the casing if hot water is present in the kettle.
    -Warning! Do not remove/open the kettle lid while water is boiling inside. The lid must remain closed when boiling / pouring out water.

Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children, unless they are over 8 years old and supervised by an adult. Unsupervised children can not perform cleaning and maintenance of the product.

PREPARATION FOR USE

In order to remove factory deposits, protec ve lms, etc. that may be present on a brand new device, ll the ke le with water to the maximum level, boil the water and then rinse the device. This opera on should be repeated at least 5 mes, by proceeding as described below.

USING THE KETTLE

  1. Remove the ke le from the power base (6) before lling with water.
  2. Press the lid opening button (3) to open the lid and'll the ke le up to the desired level (no less than 0.5 l and no more than 1.7 l). Close the lid carefully (2). Put the ke le on the power base (6). Turn on the ke le with the On/O switch (5).
  3. Put the ke le on the power base (6). Turn on the ke le with the On/O switch (5). When the water starts boiling, the ke le will turn o itself. You can always turn it o sooner with the On/O switch.
  4. Once the water has boiled or the ke le has been turned o with the On/O switch, wait for 15 to 20 seconds before turning on the ke le again. If the ke le is turned on without any water in it, the overtemperature safety will turn o the ke le. If this happens, put the ke le away to cool down for 15 minutes before lling with water.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the ke le frequently of limescale. Use limescale removing chemicals dedicated to electric kettles (and use the instruc ons for use of the chemical) or a mixture of water with vinegar or citric acid. Failure to descale the ke le may result in its failure. Wipe the ke le clean inside and out with a cloth. Do not clean with a wire brush, scouring pads or strong detergents.
