How to reset the ASUS TUF Gaming TUFAX6000 router to factory settings?

Press and hold the Reset button on the back of the router for at least 5 seconds until the power LED blinks slowly. You can also do this via the management interface: Administration > Restore/Save/Upload Settings > Restore.

How to configure the WiFi network?

Connect the router to the modem and power. Open a browser and go to http://www.asusrouter.com. Follow the quick setup wizard to set the network name (SSID) and password. You can also use the ASUS Router app.

How to enable the guest network?

In the management interface, go to General > Guest Network. Select the band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz), enable the option, set an SSID and security key, then click Apply. You can limit access to the local network.

How to use AiMesh to extend the network?

Ensure you have two ASUS routers compatible with AiMesh. Place the AiMesh node 1-3 meters from the main router. In the main router's interface, go to General > Network Map > AiMesh icon > Search. Select the detected node to add it. The system will automatically choose the best connection (wired or WiFi).

How to update the router firmware?

Download the latest firmware from the ASUS website. In the management interface, go to Advanced Settings > Administration > Firmware Update. Click Browse to select the file, then click Upload. Do not cut power during the update.

How to enable parental controls?

In the interface, go to General > Parental Controls. You can configure site and app filtering (categories: Adult, Streaming, etc.) and time scheduling to limit internet access. Click Apply after selecting the clients.

How to set up port forwarding for a game?

Go to Advanced Settings > WAN > Virtual Server / Port Forwarding. Enable forwarding, then add a profile with the service name, protocol, external port, and local IP address of the client. Click Apply. For games, you can also use the Open NAT function in the General menu.

How to connect a USB device and share it?

Insert a USB flash drive or hard drive into a USB port on the back of the router. In the interface, go to General > USB Application. Use AiDisk to set up FTP access, or enable Samba/DLNA sharing to access files from the local network. You can also use AiCloud 2.0 for remote access.

How to secure my WiFi network?

In the interface, go to Advanced Settings > Wireless > General. Select the band, set a strong authentication method like WPA2-Personal or WPA3-Personal, and enter a complex security key. Also enable AiProtection to block malicious sites and detect threats.

What to do if I cannot access the management interface?

Check that your computer is connected to the router (wired or WiFi). Disable the proxy in your browser and configure TCP/IP to obtain an IP address automatically. If necessary, reset the router with the Reset button. The default address is http://www.asusrouter.com and the default credentials are admin/admin.
