How to assemble the accessories of the Tefal Click & Mix 600 hand blender?

Attach the desired attachment (green, yellow, blue or red) onto the shaft by pressing until it clicks. Then, attach the shaft onto the motor unit until it locks. To disassemble, unplug then press the Eject button for the shaft, and the P1 and P2 tabs for the attachment.

What safety precautions should be observed?

Never leave the appliance unattended when plugged in. Never immerse the motor unit in water. Supervise children. Use the appliance for a maximum of 45 seconds at a time. Unplug before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.

How to clean the hand blender?

Always unplug the appliance. The motor unit is cleaned with a damp sponge (never under water or in the dishwasher). The shaft (drive facing up), accessories and beaker are dishwasher safe or can be washed with soapy water.

What accessories are provided with the Click & Mix 600?

The appliance comes with: a blending shaft, a crushed ice filter, a 0.8 L beaker, and four attachments: mixer (green) for soups and sauces, emulsifier (yellow) for meringues, crushed ice (blue) for cocktails, and chopper (red) for meats.

What is the recommended continuous use time?

Do not use the appliance for more than 45 seconds at a time. After making egg whites, run the shaft under cold water for 30 seconds before using again.

Can you chop meat with the Click & Mix 600?

Yes, use the chopping (red) attachment. Bone and trim the meat before chopping. Place the diced meat in a tall container and blend at speed 2 by moving the blender.

How to prepare crushed ice?

Attach the filter (E) onto the 0.8 L beaker. Place a maximum of 3 ice cubes in the filter. Press firmly at speed 2 to crush. Repeat until desired amount.

What type of container to use for blending?

Use a tall container (like the provided beaker) and fill it to a maximum of 2/3 to avoid splashing. The preparation must at least cover the attachment for good blending.

Where can I find spare parts or additional accessories?

You can order the mini chopper 150 ml (ref. 5981760) from your dealer or a Tefal authorized center. For repairs, contact an authorized service center.

What to do if the power cord is damaged?

Do not use the appliance. Have the cord replaced by a Tefal authorized service center to avoid any hazard.

Read the instructions for use carefully before using your appliance for the first time: in the event of any inappropriate use, TEFAL shall accept no liability.

• Do not let children use the appliance unattended.
• Use of this appliance by young children or disabled people must be supervised, do not use the appliance or its cord within their reach.
• Check that the power voltage indicated on the rating plate of the appliance corresponds to that of your mains installation.

Any connection or handling error renders the guarantee invalid.

• Never touch moving parts.
• Never handle the blade of the blender shaft when the appliance is connected.
  • Always unplug the appliance if you are to leave it unattended, and before you assemble it, take it apart or clean it.
• Never disassemble the appliance.
• You need only carry out standard cleaning and maintenance of the appliance.
• If the power cord or the plug is damaged, do not use your appliance. So as to avoid any danger, it is imperative that you have them replaced by an approved service centre (see list in the hand blender booklet).
• Never remove a cover when the shaft is still connected to the motor unit.
• For your safety, only use TEFAL accessories and spare parts that correspond to your appliance.
• Do not operate it for more than 45 seconds each time.

Attention: Handle all accessories with care when assembling and removing them.

- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Before using for the first time, clean the accessories in soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Fit the required accessory onto the shaft in the direction shown (see diagram 2) and push until you hear a “click”.
• Fit the shaft onto the motor unit until it clicks in.
• Plug the appliance in and press the start button (B) (diagram 5) gently for speed 1, hard for speed 2. There is an audible difference between the two speeds.
• Turn the appliance on before placing the tool into your mixture.
• Turn the appliance on and press the start button (B).
• Press the Eject button (C) to remove the shaft once you have finished.
• Press on tabs P1 and P2 simultaneously to eject the accessory once you have removed the shaft (D) from the motor unit (A) and unplugged your appliance from the mains.
• Do not use the appliance for more than 45 seconds at any one time.
• After you have whisked egg whites to the stiff peak stage, run the shaft under cold water for 30 seconds to cool it down before using again.

Practical advice (5)

• The container that you are using should be a maximum of 2/3 full to avoid any overflow. The mixture should at least cover the accessory to ensure efficient blending.
• For fruit-based preparations, chop and stone the fruit beforehand.
• For the Mincing accessory (RED), remove bones and tendons from the meat before mincing.
• Use the appropriate accessory for each kind of preparation.

Cleaning

• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
- Never put the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.
- Never put the motor unit (A) in the dishwasher. Never immerse it in water or put it under running water. Clean it with a damp sponge.
- The shaft (blade pointing upwards), the beaker and the accessories (tools pointing upwards) are dishwasher safe.
• We advise you to quickly clean the blender shaft as well as the covers after each use, once you have taken them apart.
- Should the plastic parts become stained with foodstuffs such as carrots, rub over them with a cloth dipped in a little cooking oil and then clean and dry as usual.

This accessory will allow you to mince 35 g of pork (belly pork) in 8 seconds.

BLUE	Crushed ice 3 ice-cubes max	mum Fit the filter (E) and the 0.8 L	beaker (F),place 3 ice cubes maximum in the filter and then crush atspeed2.Carry on until you have obtained the quantity desired. For the Margarita, add the ingredients to the crushed ice.
	Margarita(Drink AwarenessPlease drink alcohol in moderation)	3 ice cubes, 60 ml tequila, 30 ml cointreau, 10 ml lemon juice.
	Gaspacho 4 tomatoes, 1/2 clove ofgarlic, 60 g sliced bread,100 g cucumber, 1 red pepperand 1 green, 150 ml water,1 tablespoon of vinegar, salt,5 ice cubes.		Atspeed2, fill your container up to at least 2/3 of its height in order to ensure efficient blending. If you want a finer mixture, you can finish off using the mincer (red).
YELLOW	Stiff peak egg whites 1 pinch of salt, 2 egg whitesfresh from the refrigerator.		Place the ingredients in the 0.8 L beaker and then stir, moving the blender up and down, atspeed1, imperatively.
RED	Meats 100 g raw or cooked meat. In a container with steep sides, placethe chunks of meat and mince for a few seconds, moving the hand blender around the container atspeed2.
	Baby food 50 g ham, 50 g carrots, 50 gpotato, 50 g water		Place all the ingredients into a wide-bottomed container and mince atspeed2.
	Köfte (minced meat balls)	For 10 meatballs: 100 g lamb,150 g veal, 1/4 onion, 2 slices of stale bread.	Place all the ingredients into a wide-bottomed container and then mince atspeed2. By hand, roll out the meatballs and then cook them in a frying pan.
