USAGE NOTES Do not use power supply with a voltage higher than 5V , cause damage to the player.

• Listen at high volume for long periods of time, may damage your hearing.

• Avoid using it in the following cases: - Near strong heat sources, such as central heating plants or stoves. - In very humid places such as bathrooms, swimming pools, etc. - In very dusty places. - In places subject to strong vibrations. - Position the appliance in such a way that there is always enough room for free air circulation (at least 5cm).

• Do not block the air inlets.

• If any liquid enters the appliance, unplug it immediately from the socket and take it to the nearest TREVI authorised service centre.

• Before switching on the appliance, always check that the power cable and the connection cable are properly installed.

• No naked ame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on this.

• The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and no object lled with water, such as vases, should be placed on the unit.

• Keep this manual for future reference.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

For cleaning it is recommended to use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid solvents or abrasive substances. EnglishXJ 1 0 0

IMPORTANT The construction of this device guarantees long awless operation. However, if come some problem, you should consult your nearest authorized service center. TREVI pursues a policy of continuous research and development. Therefore, the products may show different characteristics from those described. WARNING FOR A CORRECT USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERY - Recharge the battery in an ambient temperature between 5°C and 35°C. - Don’t recharge more than the suitable period to prevent the risk of overheating and burst. - Recharging the battery over the suitable period or an extended period of inactivity may reduce battery duration. - Rechargeable battery is liable to wear and tear and its performance will reduce gradually. - To extend the duration of the battery use it when is completely charged up to the complete di- scharging, then recharge it fully before use it again. Recharge a battery not completely consumed, will result a reduced duration. In this case, repeat the full charging/discharging cycle many times. - Avoid recharge the battery for the whole night. - long press about 2 seconds o turn ON/ turn OFF the device. - Single click Pause/ Play music.

- Single click Volume +; - long press Enter into next song.

- Single click Volume -; - Long press Back to previous song.

- Single click to switch the music playing mode (BT, AUX-IN). When the device connected with the phone: - single click answer/ reject the phone incoming call; - long press about 2 seconds to reject the phone incoming call.

CHARGING The speaker must be recharged when switched Off.

1. Insert one end of the power cord into the Type-C (9) port of the device and the other end USB

into the standard 5V 2A external DC adaptor (not included);

2. The LED indicators (2) will blinking, indicating the charging status; 4 orange lights will be lit

when your unit is fully charged. This device is inbuilt with charge protection circuit, which can be connected to changer for long time; it will take about 3-4h to charge the battery fully; the endurance of the battery depends on low or high volume. Note: When the battery is low, the device will emit a warning sound for a few times before automatically turning off.

Press and hold the button (1) for 2 seconds to power On the speaker. The working state Led (6) will ash. Press and hold the button (1) for 2 seconds to power Off the speaker. The working state Led (6) will turn off. VOLUME ADJUSTMENT Press the key (4) several times to decrease the volume, or the key (3) to increase the volume. EnglishXJ 1 0 0

BLUETOOTH CONNECTION METHODS

Power On the speaker, the working state Led (6) will ash in Green;

2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (mobile phone, PC, Tablet) to search Bluetooth device;

3. Search for Bluetooth devices and select “XJ 100”; the device will automatically pair and connect.

Successful connection will deliver reminding tone and the working state Led (6) will turn to Green (In general case, no password is needed; for special mode, output password, input “0000”);

The successfully paired device can be automatically connected for the next switch-on. Note: - The speaker will power off automatically if no connection withing 20 minutes. - Press and hold button (7) 2 seconds, the speaker will disconnect with the Bluetooth device, other Bluetooth device will connect with the speaker.

COMANDS AVAILABLE IN BLUETOOTH MODE

- Press and hold the key (3) for a few seconds to go to the next song, keep the key (4) pressed for a few seconds to go to the previous song; - Press the button (1) to pause, press it again to resume playback.

HANDS-FREE MODE FOR CALLS

If connected to a telephone, you will hear a beep when a call is received. - Press the button (7) once to answer an incoming call, press it again to end the call; - Press and hold the button (7) for 2 seconds to reject the call. EnglishXJ 1 0 0

You can purchase two XJ 100 speakers so you can connect them together and enjoy the True Wireless Stereo sound.

Turn Off the Bluetooth on your phone or device and make sure speakers are not connected with any devices (also remove the Aux-in cable);

Choose one of them as the master unit at will. First click the (5) button on the master, then two speakers will automatically connect each other;

Now turn On Bluetooth on your phone or device, and start to search for Bluetooth device, the “XJ 100” will be found, please connect it;

Once TWS connected, it will re-connect automatically when next power On, otherwise you can clear TWS by long press (5) button. AUX IN

3. Press (1) button to play or mute the speaker.

LIGHT THEME Double click the (1) button when playing music, the light theme can be changed. There are three light themes: Gradient changing light - Breathing light - No light. EnglishXJ 1 0 0

Whatever type of battery used up, it should never be placed in household waste, re or water. Each type of used battery must be recycled or disposed of at an appropriate dedicated collection points. To remove the battery:

1. Remove the cover grille above the speakers by levering the part near the keyboard;

2. Remove the side membranes;

3. Unscrew all the screws and separate the front part of the cabinet from the rear one;

4. Locate the battery, remove it and replace it with one of the same characteristics and capacity.XJ 1 0 0

PRECAUTIONS FOR CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT The symbol shown on the equipment indicates that waste must be disposed of in “separate collection” and so the product must not be disposed of together with urban waste. The user must take the product to special “separate waste collection centres” provided by local government, or deliver it to the retailer against the purchase of a new product. Separate collection of waste and subsequent treatment, recycling and disposal operations promotes the production of equipment with recycled materials and limits negative effects on the environment and on health caused by improper handling of waste.
