How to use the MyBlend Plus?

Fill the bottle to the 600 mL mark, screw on the blade assembly, turn it over and lock it onto the base by aligning the arrows. Press the single-button blend until desired consistency.

Can I blend hot ingredients?

No, never blend hot, boiling, or carbonated ingredients or liquids. Let cool to room temperature before blending.

How to clean the blender?

Unplug the appliance. Clean the base with a damp sponge and mild detergent. The other parts (bottle, lid, blade assembly) are dishwasher safe or can be washed in warm soapy water.

What if the blender does not start?

Check that the bottle is properly locked onto the base and the outlet is working. If the motor overheats, wait 15 minutes before trying again. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Can I put the bottle in the dishwasher?

Yes, the sport bottle, drip-free lid, and blade assembly are dishwasher safe. The motor base must never be submerged.

What is the maximum capacity of the bottle?

The bottle has a capacity of 600 mL (20 oz). Do not exceed the MAX line to avoid overflow.

Can I blend ice?

Yes, you can blend ice, but cut frozen fruits or ice into pieces and follow ingredient order: liquids first, then frozen fruits and ice.

How to attach the bottle to the base?

Screw the blade assembly tightly onto the bottle, turn it over and place it on the base aligning the arrows. Turn the bottle to lock it in place. The bottle should not rotate during operation.

The blender is noisy, is this normal?

Some noise is normal during blending. If the noise is excessive or the bottle vibrates, check that the blade assembly is tight and the bottle is locked.

6. Avoid any contact with blades or moveable parts.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Do not attempt to replace or splice a damaged cord. Return appliance to the manufacturer (see warranty) for examination, repair or adjustment.
8. This appliance has important markings on the plug blade. The attachment plug is not suitable for replacement. If damaged, the appliance shall be replaced.
9. The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
10. Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
11. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
12. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender.
13. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully, especially when removing the blades from the container, emptying the container and during cleaning.
14. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutter-assembly blades on base without jar properly attached.
15. Always hold container while operating the appliance. If the container should turn when the motor is turned ON, switch appliance OFF immediately and tighten the container in the threaded bottom.
16. Do not use appliance for other than intended use. Misuse can cause injuries. Always use appliance on a dry, stable, level surface. Never fill beyond the MAX fill line.

1. Do not blend carbonated, hot or boiling liquids and ingredients, as this may create pressure buildup. Only blend non-carbonated liquids and ingredients that are at room temperature or cooler. If the container is warm to the touch, allow to cool before opening.
2. Do not use the blender for longer than 1 minute at a time to avoid heat and pressure buildup. Allow to cool for 1 minute between cycles.

POWER CORD INSTRUCTIONS

Please follow the instructions below to ensure the safe use of the power cord.

- You may use an extension cord, if necessary, but be certain to follow these guidelines:

• The marked electrical rating of the extension cord must be at least 120/127 Volt, 60 Hz, 10A.
• The extension must be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop, will not be within the reach of children, and will not be tripped over.
• Do not pull, twist or otherwise abuse the power cord.

POLARIZED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug, (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does

not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature or modify the plug in any way. If the plug fits loosely into the AC outlet or if the AC outlet feels warm do not use that outlet.

Using Your Oster® MyBlend® Plus Personal Blender

Clean blender according to the instructions in the “Recommended Cleaning and Storing Instructions” section.

1. Place the MyBlend Plus® Sport Bottle on a flat surface with the open end facing up. Fill the Sport Bottle with your favorite ingredients. Be sure not to fill ingredients past the 600 mL marking.
2. Fasten the Blade Assembly on the open end of the Sport Bottle. In order to avoid accidental spills, make sure the Blade Assembly is tightly threaded onto the Sport Bottle before placing on the Blender Base.
3. Once the Blade Assembly is secured tightly, turn the Sport Bottle over and attach to the Blender Base, aligning the graphic arrows. Twist to lock the Sport Bottle in place. See figures 2 & 3.

TIP: After you've consumed your blended beverage, wash out the Sport Bottle and reuse it throughout the day for water or other cold liquids.

Note: For optimal performance, place desired ingredients in the Sport Bottle according to the following order: Liquids, frozen fruit or ice, fresh ingredients.

Blending Tips

• Put liquids in the Sport Bottle first, unless a recipe says otherwise.
• Cut all firm fruits and vegetables into pieces no larger than 3/4 inch (1.8 cm) to 1 inch (2.5 cm).
• Don't overload Sport Bottle. If the motor stalls, turn the blender off immediately, unplug the unit and let it cool for at least 15 minutes. Then, remove a portion of the food and continue.
• This blender will not mash potatoes, whip egg whites or substitute dairy toppings, mix stiff dough or grind raw meat.

Recommended Cleaning And Storing Instructions

IMPORTANT: UNPLUG BEFORE CLEANING. DO NOT IMMERSE THE BLENDER BASE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

Use a damp, soft sponge with mild detergent to clean the outside of the blender base.

To clean the inside of the Sport Bottle, rinse the bottle, and pour in 2 cups of water and a small amount of detergent, and press the blend button for 15-20 seconds. Then disassemble and wash all parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry.

All parts except for the blender base are also dishwasher safe.

This appliance has no user serviceable parts. Any servicing beyond that described in the Cleaning Section should be performed by an Authorized Service Representative only. See warranty available online.

Storing Your Blender

After cleaning, reassemble Blade Assembly to open end of the Sport Bottle and then place in the blender base. Snap the drinking lid on the other end of the Sport Bottle.

Rise 'N' Shine Shake

Makes 1 (18-ounce) serving

1 cup milk 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved 1 kiwi, peeled and quartered
½ cup strawberry frozen yogurt 1 tablespoon suga

Pour milk into MyBlend® PLUS Sport Bottle. Add strawberries, kiwi, frozen yogurt and sugar. Fasten the Blade Assembly on the open end of the Sport Bottle.

Turn the Sport Bottle upside down and place it in the Blender Base, lining up the arrows on the Blade Assembly with the arrows on the Blender Base. Press the One-Touch Blending Button for 20-30 seconds or until smooth.

Turn the Sport Bottle over and place on a flat surface. Replace the Blade Assembly with the Spill-Proof Drinking Lid.

Protein Energy Shake

Makes 1 (18-ounce) serving

1 cup plain soymilk 2 tablespoons honey
14 cup walnuts 14 to 12 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 ¼ cups vanilla soy yogurt

Pour milk and honey into MyBlend® PLUS Sport Bottle. Add walnuts, cinnamon and yogurt. Fasten the Blade Assembly on the open end of the Sport Bottle.

Turn the Sport Bottle upside down and place it in the Blender Base, lining up the arrows on the Blade Assembly with the arrows on the Blender Base. Press the One-Touch Blending Button for 20-30 seconds or until smooth.

Turn the Sport Bottle over and place on a flat surface. Replace the Blade Assembly with the Spill-Proof Drinking Lid.

Berry Morning Medley

Makes 1 (18-ounce) serving

1 cup milk ¼ teaspoon vanilla
14 cup old-fashioned oats
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 container (6 ounces) plain yogurt
1 tablespoon sugar

Pour milk and vanilla into MyBlend® PLUS Sport Bottle. Add oats, berries, yogurt and sugar. Fasten the Blade Assembly on the open end of the Sport Bottle.

Turn the Sport Bottle upside down and place it in the Blender Base, lining up the arrows on the Blade Assembly with the arrows on the Blender Base. Press the One-Touch Blending Button for 20-30 seconds or until smooth.

Turn the Sport Bottle over and place on a flat surface. Replace the Blade Assembly with the Spill-Proof Drinking Lid.

3 Year Limited Warranty

Sunbeam Products, Inc. or if in Newell Brands Canada UI.C (collectively "Sunbeam") warrants that for a period of three years from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Sunbeam, at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.

This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. Sunbeam dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling Sunbeam products do not have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than Sunbeam or an authorized Sunbeam service center. Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.

What are the limits on Sunbeam's Liability?

Sunbeam shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express, implied or statutory warranty or condition.
