How to adjust water hardness?
Use the provided test strip to measure hardness. Then go to settings, select 'Water hardness', then choose the corresponding level (1 to 5). Confirm with OK.

Why doesn't the milk froth?
Check that the LatteGo is correctly assembled (audible click) and clean. Use semi-skimmed or whole cow's milk straight from the refrigerator. For the classic frother, ensure it is properly attached and the button is on the emulsioned milk icon.
How to install the AquaClean filter?
Shake the filter for 5 seconds, immerse it upside down in cold water, then insert it vertically into the water tank. Fill the tank, remove the LatteGo if present, place a bowl under the hot water spout and follow the on-screen instructions to activate the filter (hot water dispensing).
What does error code 01 mean?
Error 01 indicates that the coffee funnel is clogged. Turn off and unplug the machine, remove the brewing unit, open the pre-ground coffee compartment and insert the handle of a spoon to dislodge the ground coffee. Refer to online videos for further assistance.
How to adjust the grind?
While the machine is grinding beans (prepare an espresso), turn the adjustment knob located in the bean hopper. Turn left for a finer grind (stronger coffee) or right for a coarser grind. Do not exceed one notch at a time and prepare 2-3 cups to see the difference.
