GENERAL WARNING NOTES

• Always keep the batteries out of the reach of children.
- Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Clean the battery and device contacts with a clean, dry cloth as necessary.
- Do not expose the batteries to extreme conditions (e.g. radiators or direct sunlight).
- Handle a damaged or leaking battery with extreme care and dispose of it immediately and in accordance with regulations. Wear gloves.
- If you come into contact with battery acid then wash the relevant area with soap and water. If battery acid gets in your eyes then rinse with water and seek immediate medical attention!
- Batteries must not be swallowed! If this does happen you must consult a doctor immediately!
- Never throw batteries into a fire or lay them on hot surfaces (e.g. radiator or stove). Never open the casing or the foil and never short-circuit the terminals. There is a risk of fire or explosion!
- Avoid external mechanical impact (e.g. blows, pointed objects, or crushing). There is a risk of fire or explosion!
- Do not expose the batteries to temperatures under 10^ or over 45^ .

ADDITIONAL WARNING NOTES FOR BATTERIES

  • Only use batteries from the same manufacturer and of the same type.
  • Remove the batteries if they are empty or if you are not going to use the product for a longer period.
  • New and used batteries may not be used together.
  • Change all the batteries at the same time.
    • Non-rechargeable batteries may not be charged.
  • Warning: batteries must not be charged or reactivated by other means, dismantled, thrown into the fire, or short-circuited. There is a risk of fire or explosion!
  • Please ensure correct polarity (+/-) when inserting the batteries.
  • Dispose of used batteries in the appropriate manner at the local authority collection point or with a retailer.
  • The terminals may not be short-circuited.
  • Do not use rechargeable batteries!

Inserting the batteries

ATTENTION! Pay attention to the following instructions in order to avoid mechanical and electrical damage.

Insert the included batteries before using the product for the first time.

Inserting the batteries into the vehicle

  1. Push the battery compartment cover (1b) on the back of the vehicle (1) downwards and fold it outwards in order to open the battery compartment (1d).
  2. Insert three batteries (3) carefully into the battery compartment (figure C). The batteries must be entirely inside the battery compartment.

Note: Pay attention to the positive and negative poles on the batteries and make sure you insert them correctly.

  1. Close the battery compartment cover (1b) on the back again.

Inserting the battery into the remote control (figure E)

  1. Use a suitable screwdriver to release the screw on the battery compartment (2e) on the underside of the remote control (2) and remove the cover (2f).
  2. Insert two batteries (3) carefully into the battery compartment (2g). The batteries must be entirely inside the battery compartment.
    Note: Pay attention to the positive and negative poles on the batteries and make sure you insert them correctly.
  3. Screw the battery compartment (2f) on the back of the remote control again.

Changing the batteries

ATTENTION! Pay attention to the following instructions in order to avoid mechanical and electrical damage.

Change the batteries as described for battery insertion if the batteries stop working. Remove the batteries from the product before inserting the new batteries.

Switching the product on and off (figure B)

The vehicle must be switched on in order to steer the product using the remote control.

In order to switch the vehicle on or off push the switch (1c) on the back of the vehicle to ON to switch it on or to OFF to switch it off.

Steering the vehicle

The vehicle can be steered in different directions using the remote control. To do this point the antenna on the remote control towards the vehicle and press it as follows:

  • Forward arrow (2a): vehicle moves forwards (figure F).
  • Backwards arrow (2b): vehicle moves backwards (figure G).
  • Arrow to the left (2c) in combination with forward arrow (2a): vehicle drives in a curve to the left (figure H).
  • Arrow to the right (2d) in combination with forward arrow (2a): vehicle drives in a curve to the right (figure I).

  • Arrow to the left (2c) in combination with backwards arrow (2b): vehicle drives backwards in a curve to the left (figure J).

  • Arrow to the right (2d) in combination with backwards arrow (2b): vehicle drives backwards in a curve to the right (figure K).

Trimming the front axle (figure L)

If the vehicle is no longer driving straight ahead even though you are using the 'forward arrow' (2a) then proceed as follows:

  1. If the vehicle is drifting to the right then push the trim lever (1a) slightly to the left.
  2. If the vehicle is drifting to the left then push the trim lever (1a) slightly to the right.
  3. Repeat step 1 or step 2 if the vehicle is still not driving straight ahead.

Storage, cleaning

Always store the product in clean and dry condition at room temperature. Only use water to clean and wipe it dry with cleaning cloth.

IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with aggressive cleaning agents.

Disposal

Dispose of the article and the packaging materials in accordance with current local regulations. Packaging materials such as foil bags are not suitable to be given to children. Keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children.
