- Check the function of the wheels before each use and ensure that all screws are tight.
- Clean the ball bearings and the wheels regularly.
- Remain alert and careful at all times.
- Always stay in control while riding.
- Always be in control of your speed. Only ride at a speed at which you are still in control of the skateboard and can safety dismount during the ride.
- Avoid stones, sand, gravel, water, oil, potholes, and very rough surfaces. Tips for beginners Most accidents happen in the first month. Please follow the tips below: Caution! Practise initially on an anti-slip surface such as a carpet before moving to a faster surface.
- Get help from a second person during your initial test rides so that they can support you if necessary.
- Learn the basics of skateboarding, e.g. riding around curves, gliding, and braking, before trying difficult tricks. Riding and braking
1. To get an initial feeling, stand on the skate-
board in a relaxed position with your knees slightly bent and get a second person to pull you.
2. Once you feel safe and are able to keep
your balance well, you can undertake your first attempts alone. Place one foot on the skate- board and push yourself off with the other foot. You can place your second foot on the skate- board when you have built up enough speed. To find the correct posture, stand with your upper body leaning slightly forwards, looking in your direction of travel, and with your body slightly sideways. Dismount from the skateboard in a controlled manner if you lose your balan- ce. Only ride at a speed at which you can still control the skateboard.
3. For the next step try to roll the skateboard for-
wards using body movements.
4. Shift your body weight to the left or right to turn
5. Practise ‘tilting’ the skateboard in order to turn
or brake during the ride. At the same time, place one foot at the very back of the skate- board and shift your weight to this foot. The skateboard will tip down at the back. Setting the steering characteristics (figure B) You can set the steering characteristics on the front axle and the back axle, choosing between a soft and a hard setting. Soft setting: Loosen the kingpin nut (1) slightly. Hard setting: Tighten the kingpin nut more securely. Caution! – Risk of accident In order to ensure the self-locking protection on the kingpin nut, the self-locking ring on the kingpin nut must be located completely on the screw. Otherwise the nut can loosen during the ride.6 GB/IE
5. Place the wheel on the axle. Be sure not to
6. Apply thread locking lacquer to the axle nut
and tighten it. Care and storage

The wear depends on many factors such as the ground, the size and weight of the user, the weather conditions, the material of the wheels and their hardness. It is therefore necessary to exchange them at intervals. Worn or unevenly worn wheels should always be exchanged in pairs. If you would like to use wheels with new ball bearings you must follow the following steps:
1. Release the axle nut (2) from the axle (3).
2. Remove the wheel (4) and place a new wheel
with new ball bearings onto the axle. Do not forget the washers (5 and 6) on each side of the wheel.
3. Apply thread locking lacquer to the axle nut
and tighten it. The wheel must not wobble, but not be tightened so securely that this blocks the wheel. Cleaning and exchanging the ball bearings (figure. C) The ball bearings should be checked at regular intervals and after riding on wet, dusty, or oily surfaces. If the ball bearings have become wet then they must be dried with a cloth without fail. Exchange the ball bearings if they are damaged. Only use ball bearings that are authorised for this skate- board.
1. Remove the wheel as described.
2. Push out one set of ball bearings (7) carefully
by pressing on the spacer (8) using a screw- driver and then remove the spacer.
3. Push out the other set of ball bearings (9) by
pressing with a screwdriver. Please ensure that you do not damage the ring on the ball bea- rings with the tool and do not lose the spacer.
