USAGE NOTES Do not use power supply with a voltage higher than 5V , cause damage to the player.
- Listen at high volume for long periods of time, may damage your hearing.
- Avoid using it in the following cases: - Near strong heat sources, such as central heating plants or stoves. - In very humid places such as bathrooms, swimming pools, etc. - In very dusty places. - In places subject to strong vibrations. - Position the appliance in such a way that there is always enough room for free air circulation (at least 5cm).
- Do not block the air inlets.
- If any liquid enters the appliance, unplug it immediately from the socket and take it to the nearest TREVI authorised service centre.
- Before switching on the appliance, always check that the power cable and the connection cable are properly installed.
- No naked ame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on this.
- The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and no object lled with water, such as vases, should be placed on the unit.
- Keep this manual for future reference.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
For cleaning it is recommended to use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid solvents or abrasive sub- stances. EnglishXJ 9 0
IMPORTANT The construction of this device guarantees long awless operation. However, if come some problem, you should consult your nearest authorized service center. TREVI pursues a policy of continuous research and development. Therefore, the products may show different characteristics from those described. WARNING FOR A CORRECT USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERY - Recharge the battery in an ambient temperature between 5°C and 35°C. - Don’t recharge more than the suitable period to prevent the risk of overheating and burst. - Recharging the battery over the suitable period or an extended period of inactivity may reduce battery duration. - Rechargeable battery is liable to wear and tear and its performance will reduce gradually. - To extend the duration of the battery use it when is completely charged up to the complete di- scharging, then recharge it fully before use it again. Recharge a battery not completely consumed, will result a reduced duration. In this case, repeat the full charging/discharging cycle many times. - Avoid recharge the battery for the whole night. CHARGING The speaker must be recharged when switched Off. Insert one end of the power cord into the DC IN (8) port of the device and the other end USB into the standard 5V 1A charging port; in charging the Led (7) will be On. This device is inbuilt with charge protection circuit, which can be connected to PC or changer for long time; it will take about 3h to charge the battery fully; the endurance of the battery depends on low or high volume. Note: When the battery is low, the device will emit a warning sound for a few times before automatical- ly turning off.
To switch on the speaker, press and hold the button (1) for 3 seconds. To turn off the speaker, press and hold the button (1) for 3 seconds. VOLUME ADJUSTMENT Press the key (6) several times to decrease the volume, or the key (4) to increase the volume. BLUETOOTH
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION METHODS
1. Switch On the speaker, white Led indicator (1) ash;
2. Activate the Bluetooth name “XJ 90” on the mobile device (mobile phone, PC, Tablet) to search
3. With manual click, the device will automatically pair and connect: successful connection will
deliver reminding tone. (In general case, no password is needed; for special mode, output pas- sword, input “0000”);
4. The successfully paired device can be automatically connected for the next switch-on.
Note: - Whithin 10s after entering Bluetooth mode, the Bluetooth will automatically seek for the device and pair for connection; after 10s, it needs to be connected manually. - Long press key (5). Bluetooth headset can be disconnected/reconnected.
COMANDS AVAILABLE IN BLUETOOTH MODE
- Press and hold the key (4) for a few seconds to go to the next song, keep the key (6) pressed for a few seconds to go to the previous song; - Press the button (5) to pause, press it again to resume playback.
HANDS-FREE MODE FOR CALLS
If connected to a telephone, you will hear a beep when a call is received. - Press the key (5) once to open the call and activate the hands-free function, press it again to end the call; - Double click on the button (5) to recall the last number. EnglishXJ 9 0
1. Power On the Bluetooth speakers at the same time, then the LED indicator quick ashing;
2. Press and hold (3) button of any device and the device wil issue a prompt sound. At this time,
the device is in the pairing mode;
3. The two speakers will connect automatically and you should hear the indicator tone. When the
status light indicator is in white, the TWS has connected successfully;
4. Under connection, search Bluetooth device and select “XJ 90”.
Note: Using the TWS function must get the two device paired at rst then continuing the Bluetooth function.
MICRO SD CARD OPERATION
1. Turn on the speaker;
2. Insert a micro SD card into the slot (10) holding the contacts facing upwards;
3. Playback will start automatically;
4. Press and hold the key (4) for a few seconds to go to the next song, press and hold (6)
button for a few seconds to go to the previous song;
5. Press the button (5) to pause, press it again to resume playback.
1. Connect the Jack/Jack audio cable (NOT supplied) to the AUX jack (9) and the other end to
the external device. The device will automatically go to AUX mode;
2. Start from the external device playback.
Warning: the operation of removal and disposal is reserved to technical personnel!
Whatever type of battery used up, it should never be placed in household waste, re or water. Each type of used battery must be recycled or disposed of at an appropriate dedicated collection points. To remove the battery:
1. Remove the cover grille above the speakers;
2. Unscrew all the screws present and separate the front part of the cabinet from the rear one;
3. Identify the battery, remove it and replace it with one of the same characteristics and capacity.XJ 9 0
PRECAUTIONS FOR CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT The symbol shown on the equipment indicates that waste must be disposed of in “separate collec- tion” and so the product must not be disposed of together with urban waste. The user must take the product to special “separate waste collection centres” provided by local government, or deliver it to the retailer against the purchase of a new product. Separate collection of waste and subsequent treatment, recycling and disposal operations promotes the production of equipment with recycled materials and limits negative effects on the environment and on health caused by improper handling of waste.
