Frequently Asked Questions - RT210WM2110 TCL

How do I adjust the temperature of my TCL RT210WM2110 refrigerator?
Use the temperature control knob located inside the refrigerator compartment. It has 8 positions (0 to 7). Turn it towards 7 for colder, towards 0 for less cold. Recommended settings: level 4-6 in summer, level 4 in spring/autumn, level 2-4 in winter.
What should I do if my refrigerator door is hard to open?
This is normal just after closing the door. The warm air entering contracts and creates a vacuum. Wait a few moments for the pressure to equalize, and the door will open more easily.
Why is there frost in the freezer?
Frost forms naturally. If the thickness becomes excessive (over 5 mm), defrost manually: set the temperature knob to 0, remove food, leave the door open until the frost melts, then wipe with a dry cloth.
What are the normal noises from the refrigerator?
Gurgling sounds (refrigerant flow), clicking sounds (material expansion), and a hum (compressor) are normal. If the hum is too loud, check that the appliance is level and not touching the wall.
How do I clean my TCL refrigerator?
Unplug the appliance. Use a damp cloth with a neutral detergent. Avoid alkaline detergents, gasoline, or alcohol which could damage surfaces. Clean door seals and drain tray regularly.
What to do in case of a flammable gas leak nearby?
Immediately close the gas valve, open windows to ventilate, and do not unplug the refrigerator: a spark could cause an explosion. Move away and contact emergency services.
Can I store carbonated drinks in the freezer?
No, carbonated drinks or sealed containers may burst due to freezing. Store them only in the refrigerator compartment.
How to defrost the refrigerator compartment?
Set the temperature knob to 0. The frost will melt naturally. Once defrosting is complete, set the knob back to the usual position. Never use metal tools or an electric heater to speed up the process.
What is the power consumption of this refrigerator?
The annual consumption is 168 kWh, about 0.46 kWh per day. It is an economical appliance thanks to its quiet compressor and insulation technology.
How can I contact TCL after-sales service?
In case of a problem, unplug the appliance and contact TCL after-sales service. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself, especially the refrigerant circuit. Refer to the manual for contact details.
