How to clean the projector lens?

Turn off and unplug the projector, let it cool down. Use compressed air to remove dust, then a special lens cloth. Do not use detergents or volatile solvents. Do not touch the lens with your fingers.

How to replace the lamp?

Turn off the projector, unplug it and let it cool for 30 minutes. Unscrew the lamp cover, remove the old lamp module, insert the new one and screw back. Reset the lamp counter in the menu Settings > Lamp Settings > Lamp Reset.

How to correct keystone distortion?

In the menu Display > Geometric Correction, use the H. Keystone and V. Keystone options to straighten the image horizontally and vertically. You can also use Four Corners for manual adjustment.

What to do if no image is displayed?

Check that all cables are properly connected, the lamp is installed and the Mute mode is not activated. Make sure the source is selected via the Source button. If the problem persists, turn off and unplug the projector for 20 seconds before trying again.

How to activate 3D mode?

Press the 3D button on the remote or go to Display > 3D > 3D Mode and select On. Use compatible 3D glasses and adjust 3D Sync Invert if necessary.

How to connect an HDMI device?

Use a high-speed HDMI cable up to 5 meters. Plug it into either HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 port on the projector. Select the corresponding source via the Source button or remote.

How to reset the lamp counter?

After replacing the lamp, go to Menu > Settings > Lamp Settings > Lamp Reset and select Yes. This resets the hour count.

How to adjust the focus?

Turn the focus ring on the projector lens clockwise or counterclockwise until the image is sharp. The focus distance range is between 1.2 m and 9.9 m.

How to use the HDR function?

The projector automatically detects HDR content (4K UHD Blu-ray, HDR games). The HDR mode then activates automatically. You can adjust settings in Display > Dynamic Range and HDR Image Mode.

How to install the projector on the ceiling?

Use an Optoma ceiling mount kit or a compatible bracket with M4 or M6 screws. Leave at least 10 cm between the ceiling and the projector. Avoid heat sources. Set the orientation in Settings > Projection to Ceiling top or Rear top.
