How to change the dustbag?
Press the release button of the dust compartment cover, lift the cover. Grasp the bag by the handle: the hygienic closure closes automatically. Dispose of the used bag. Insert a new Original Miele type GN dustbag until it clicks. Close the cover, making sure not to pinch the bag.
When to replace the motor protection filter?
It is recommended to replace the motor protection filter each time you open a new pack of dustbags (each pack contains one). To change it, open the compartment, remove the bag, pull the filter grille, remove the old filter by its clean surface, insert the new one and close the grille.
What does the Timestrip indicator on the exhaust filter mean?
The Timestrip indicates the usage time of the filter. After approximately 50 hours of operation (about one year of average use), a red band appears, signaling that the filter needs to be replaced. You can continue vacuuming, but efficiency is reduced.
How to activate the Boost function?
On equipped models, press the + pedal until maximum power, then press + again. Boost power activates for 20 seconds (yellow display). You can use it up to 3 times in a row, with a one-minute interval.
Can I vacuum liquids with this vacuum cleaner?
No, never vacuum liquids or damp items. Allow shampooed carpets and rugs to dry completely before vacuuming. The vacuum cleaner is designed only for dry dust.
How to replace the remote control batteries?
Unscrew the screws of the handle cover, remove the cover. Replace the used battery (CR 2032) observing correct polarity. Screw the cover back on. Do not dispose of used batteries in household waste.
Why does the vacuum cleaner stop suddenly?
A temperature limiter cuts the power in case of overheating (blocked hose, full bag, clogged filter). Turn off the vacuum cleaner, unplug it, remove the cause and wait about 20-30 minutes before restarting.
What accessories are available as options?
Miele offers original accessories: turbo brush, Twister parquet brush, mini turbo brush, flat crevice nozzle, HEPA filter, etc. You can order them online, from customer service, or from your dealer. Only accessories bearing the 'Original Miele' logo guarantee safety and performance.
