How to turn the Aukey BEA3 lamp on and off?

Press and hold the multifunction button to turn the lamp completely on or off. Double-click the touch control point to turn off the light while leaving the touch control active.

What lighting modes are available?

The lamp offers four modes: cool white (6500K), warm yellow (2700K), manual RGB color cycle (choose a fixed color) and auto RGB color cycle (continuous color scrolling).

How to adjust brightness?

In cool white or warm yellow mode, press and hold the touch control point to continuously adjust brightness. Release when the desired level is reached. A green flash of the LED indicator signals maximum or minimum level.

How to choose a color in manual RGB mode?

In manual RGB mode, press and hold the touch control point until you get the desired color. The lamp remembers this setting for next use.

How long does it take to charge the lamp?

Full charge takes about 3.5 hours. The LED indicator flashes red during charging and turns blue when charging is complete.

What is the battery life?

Battery life varies with brightness: 6 hours at full power, up to 100 hours at the lowest setting.

How to attach the lamp to a non-metal surface?

Use the included adhesive metal plates. Clean the surface with a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water (1:1), then stick the plate. The magnetic base of the lamp then attaches to the plate.

Is the lamp waterproof?

Yes, it is rated IP65 equivalent, meaning it is resistant to water splashes and dust, but not designed for immersion.

What to do if the lamp does not turn on?

Check that the battery is charged (plug in the Micro-USB cable). If the LED indicator does not light up, try another cable or charger. If the problem persists, contact AUKEY customer service.

Getting Started

Connect one end of the included micro-USB cable to the charging input port of the LT-ST23 and the other end of the cable to a USB charger or charging port to charge. LED indicator will be flashing red while charging and blue when fully charged. Charging takes around 3.5 hours.

Powering On/Off the Light

• Long-press the multi-function button to turn on/off the light
• When the light is switched on, the LED indicator is blue (or flashes red when battery is below 20%)
• With the light on, double-tapping the touch control point (center-top of the light cover) also switches the light on/off, but off is standby with touch control active. Only the multi-function button switches the light fully off

Switching Between Light Modes

There are four main light modes: cool white, soft yellow, manual RGB color-cycling, and automatic RGB color-cycling.

Adjusting Light Brightnes

• Long-press the touch control point until you get the desired brightness. On each long press, the brightness will smoothly scale in the opposite direction
• Stop at any brightness level between the highest and lowest (LED indicator will flash green when these are reached)
• Brightness is only adjustable in cool white and soft yellow light modes

Using the Light Color Modes

There are two RGB color-cycling light modes. The first is manual and the second is automatic. Use manual to choose a color. Automatic cycles through all the colors continuously.

- In manual, long-press the touch control point until you get the desired color

Light Memory Function

The light switches on with the last-set mode, so you don't need to repeat color selection or brightness adjustment to reach your preferred setting.

Using the Magnetic Light Mounts

The light directly attaches to many metal surfaces. For convenient mounting on other surfaces, two metal plates are included.

1. Clean the flat surface (such as a wall) where you want to install the light with a mixture of equal parts (1:1) isopropyl alcohol and water
2. Carefully remove the metal plate's adhesive backing and adhere the plate to the surface
3. Press and hold firmly for a few minutes to ensure tight adhesion
4. Place the light's magnetic base against the magnetic plate so that it magnetically attaches
