How to turn on the station and sensor?

Insert 2 AAA batteries into the outdoor sensor then 2 AAA batteries into the station. The station automatically searches for the sensor signal. Then go to the settings menu to set the time and date.

How to set the time and date?

Press and hold the SET/MODE button until the display changes. Use the + and - buttons to set successive values (hour, minutes, year, month, day, temperature unit). Press SET/MODE to confirm each step.

What to do if the screen shows 'NO' for outdoor temperature?

This means the station has lost the sensor signal. Check the sensor batteries and replace if necessary. Then press and hold the + button on the station until the reception icon starts moving. The station searches for the signal automatically every hour.

How to view the recorded high and low temperatures?

Press and release the + button to scroll through the recordings: HI/LO of outdoor temperature, outdoor humidity, then indoor. The time and date of each reading are displayed.

How to reset a specific record?

When viewing a recorded data (HI or LO), press and hold the - button to reset only that value. A complete restart (removing batteries) resets all records.

What type of batteries to use and when to replace them?

Use AAA alkaline batteries. In very cold regions (below -30°C), prefer lithium batteries. Replace all batteries at the same time as soon as the low battery indicator appears on the screen.

How to switch the display between temperature and humidity in large digits?

Press and release the SET/MODE button to toggle between displaying temperature in large digits and humidity in large digits. The station retains your choice.

Where to place the outdoor sensor for accurate measurements?

Install the sensor outdoors, in a shaded place and sheltered from direct weather. Use the mounting eyelet to hang it or insert a screw into the provided hole. Orient it vertically so that condensation drips off.

What to do if the station does not turn on?

Check that the batteries are inserted correctly (observe + and - polarity). Try new batteries. Ensure the contacts are clean. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to maintain the station and sensor?

Clean them with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemicals. Remove batteries if the device is not used for a long time. Store in a dry place at room temperature.

POWER UP

1. Insert 2-AAA batteries into your Outdoor Sensor.
2. Insert 2-AAA batteries into your Station.
3. Enter the Settings Menu to set the Time, Date, and Temperature.
4. Once the sensor is reading to your station, place the sensor outside in a shaded location.

BUTTONS

SETTINGS MENU

Important: Only press or hold one button at a time to set your station.

1. Hold the SET/MODE button until the display changes to enter the Settings Menu.

2. Press then release the + or - button to adjust the values. Hold to adjust quickly.

3. Press then release the SET/MODE button to confirm and move to the next item.

Settings Menu Order:

• Hour
• Minutes
• Year
• Month
• Date
  • Celsius/Fahrenheit

Weekday: Weekday will set automatically when Year, Month and Date are set.

STATION AND SENSOR MOUNTING

Station: Place the display directly on a table using the built-in pull-down stand on the back. Alternatively, hang it on a wall using the triangle hanging hole on the back.

Sensor: Insert a screw through the front hanging hole to mount the sensor outside in a shaded location. For more details, watch our video here: bit.ly/th_sensor_mounting.

Press then release the SET/MODE button to view Temperature or Humidity in large numbers. Station will stay on the selection.

Reset Records:

While viewing a record, hold the - (MINUS) button to reset that individual record.

A full restart will reset all records at once.

LOW BATTERY INDICATOR

• When the Low Battery Icon ☐ shows by the indoor temperature, replace batteries in the station.
• When the Low Battery Icon ☐ shows by the outdoor temperature, replace batteries in the sensor.

SEARCH FOR SENSOR

• If a sensor loses connection to the thermometer for any reason, the thermometer will show NO on screen after 30 minutes.
• The thermometer will automatically search for 3 minutes every hour to try and reconnect with the sensor.
  • Install a new set of regular alkaline batteries into the sensor. Then hold the + (PLUS) button on the station until the Reception Icon 📁 starts to animate.

Battery replacement instruction:
