How to connect my Soundcore Flare 2 via Bluetooth?

Turn on the speaker by pressing the power button. Press the Bluetooth button to enter pairing mode (blue flashing light). On your device, select 'Soundcore Flare 2' from the Bluetooth list. Once connected, the light becomes solid blue.

How to use PartyCast mode?

To set up a main speaker, connect it to your phone via Bluetooth, then press and hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds until the light flashes white. For secondary speakers, make sure they are not connected, then press and hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds until white flashing. The secondary speakers will automatically connect to the main speaker.

How to change the light effects?

Download the SoundCore app on your smartphone. In the app, you can choose from several preset light effects or customize colors. You can also turn the lights on/off with the dedicated button on the speaker.

What is the battery life?

The battery life is approximately 12 hours under normal use. This may vary depending on volume and use of light effects.

How long does it take to fully charge the speaker?

The charging time is approximately 3.5 hours with a 5V/2A USB-C charger.

Can I use the Flare 2 in the rain or near water?

The Flare 2 is not designed for submerged use. Avoid exposure to water and store it in a dry place. The manual does not mention an IP rating.

How to answer or reject a call?

To answer a call, press the multifunction button once. To reject a call, press and hold the multifunction button for 2 seconds.

Can I connect multiple Flare 2 speakers together?

Yes, thanks to PartyCast mode, you can connect up to 100 Flare 2 speakers by syncing them with a main speaker.

How to activate bass boost (BassUp)?

Press the 'Bass' button on the top of the speaker once. An indicator shows the function is activated. Press again to deactivate.

Where can I download the SoundCore app?

The SoundCore app is available for free on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android). It allows you to manage light effects, equalizer, and firmware updates.

• Use the included USB cable to charge your speaker and make sure it is fully charged before first use.
• Do not charge your speaker for extended periods.

• When powered on, the speaker will automatically connect to the last connected device if available within the Bluetooth range. If not, press the Bluetooth button to enter the Bluetooth pairing mode.
• To pair with another device, press the Bluetooth button to re-enter the pairing mode.

PartyCast Mode

Set up one Flare 2 as the primary speaker and connect it with more than 100+ secondary Flare 2 speakers to control audio and all the light effects.

Set up the primary speaker:

1. Connect one Flare 2 speaker to your phone or other devices via Bluetooth. When successfully connected, the Bluetooth LED will turn blue.
2. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on this Flare 2 for 3 seconds until you hear a sound and the Bluetooth LED flashes white to indicate this Flare 2 is the primary speaker.

• The Bluetooth LED on the primary speaker will keep flashing white.

Connect with secondary speakers:

1. Make sure the secondary speakers aren't connected to any Bluetooth devices.

- Press the Bluetooth button to disconnect Flare 2 from a device, the Bluetooth LED will flash blue.

1. Press the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds until you hear a sound and the Bluetooth LED flashes white to indicate the secondary speaker is in connection mode.
2. When the secondary speakers are close to the primary speaker, they will connect to the primary speaker automatically. When successfully connected, the Bluetooth LED on the primary speaker will continue flashing white, while on the secondary speakers will turn white.

When successfully enter the PartyCast mode:

• you can power off, adjust the volume, or switch light effects for all speakers by controlling the primary speaker only;
• you can power off or switch light effects for each secondary speaker individually;
• you can't adjust the volume for each secondary speaker individually;
• to exit the PartyCast mode, press the Bluetooth button either on the primary speaker or on the primary speaker for 3 seconds until the Bluetooth LED flashes blue.
