What type of water should I use for the ice maker?

Use only potable water, preferably mineral water. Non-mineral purified or distilled water may not be detected correctly by the machine.

Why does the 'empty tank' indicator light up when there is water in the tank?

This may indicate the water pump is not working. Contact customer service. Make sure to use mineral water, as purified or distilled water may not be detected.

What to do if the 'full basket' indicator lights up when the basket is not full?

The infrared sensor may be blocked or water droplets may be on the sensor. Check that nothing is obstructing the sensor and wipe it with a soft cloth.

How to clean the ice maker?

Unplug the appliance and empty the tank. Clean the exterior with a slightly damp cloth. Clean the interior with a cloth soaked in warm water and a little vinegar, then rinse with clean water. Wash the basket and scoop in warm soapy water. Never immerse the appliance or put it in the dishwasher.

Why are the ice cubes stuck together or forming a block?

This can happen if the water temperature or ambient temperature is too low. Turn off the appliance, wait for the water to warm up, then restart the cycle.

The machine stops suddenly after running for a while, what should I do?

This may be due to a high ambient temperature triggering the thermal protector. Turn off the appliance and wait at least one hour before restarting.

Can I leave the machine on continuously?

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.

Important: This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and the risks involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Never leave the appliance and its cord unsupervised and within reach of children less than 8 years old or irresponsible persons, when it is plugged into the wall or when it is cooling down.

• Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.

UNPACKING THE APPLIANCE

IMPORTANT: This appliance is heavy, so to avoid any risk of injury or fall, let someone help to take the appliance out of its cardboard box.

• Do not use the lid to lift up the ice maker, as this could damage the appliance.
• Do not put your appliance upside down, as this would damage the compressor.
• Put the ice maker on a stable level surface which is able to hold its weight.
• For sufficient ventilation, please let a free space of 20~cm at the back and at the sides of the appliance.
  This appliance is not intended for a continuous use. Therefore it is necessary to switch it off for at least 1 hour after 5 hours of use.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

• As with any other cooling appliance, your ice maker should not be started up immediately after its installation.
• Please wait at least 2 hours before starting up the appliance after its installation.
• Use an earthed socket.

USE

After having unpacked the appliance, open the lid and remove the ice basket. Clean the water tank and ice basket thoroughly.
- Pour drinkable water in the water tank. Do not fill above the MAX water level mark.
- Put the ice basket in the appliance in such a way that it covers the water tank.
- Close the lid.
Plug in the appliance (the ICE indicator lamp starts to blink).
- Press the ON/OFF button to start the ice making process (the ICE indicator lamp becomes green steadily).
- Press the ON/OFF button to switch off the appliance (the ICE indicator lamp starts to blink).
- If the water tank is getting empty, the "ADD WATER" pilot light will turn on. In that case, the ice maker will stop the ice-making cycle automatically. Fill water in the water tank. Wait for 3 minutes before pressing the ON/OFF button to resume the ice making process.
- When the "ICE FULL" pilot light switches on, it means that you should empty the ice basket. In that case, the ice maker will stop the ice-making cycle automatically. Empty the ice basket with the ice scoop and about 5 seconds later the ice maker will resume the ice making process automatically.
It takes about 7-15 minutes to make ice cubes depending on the ambient temperature and the water temperature.
- Unplug the appliance after use and empty the tank (cf. CLEANING).

CLEANING

• Unplug the appliance.
• Remove the ice basket. When you have just used the appliance, do not touch the ice cubes with your naked hand as they are cold/frozen and you would risk getting your fingers burned.
• Empty the tank. To do so, put a receptacle under the emptying drain situated at the bottom of the appliance and unscrew the drain plug. When the tank is empty, screw back the plug.

• Clean the outside only with a slightly damp cloth.
  NEVER USE THIS APPLIANCE IN THE PROXIMITY OF WATER. DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
• Clean the inside of the ice maker with a soft cloth soaked with warm water and vinegar, then rinse with clean water and then drain all the water.
• Wash the ice basket and ice scoop in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry.
• Do not use any abrasive products or solvents.
  Do not put any part of your appliance in the dishwasher.

TROUBLESHOOTING

“Add water” & “Ice full” warning lights turn on simultaneously.	Ice may be jammed under the water tray.	Remove the ice & restart the equipment.
	The ice cubes are too big or stick together, thus the water tray is seized.	Turn off the appliance, remove the ice cubes & restart the equipment.
	Poor contact of the travel switch occurs.	Contact the after sales service.
ICE lamp on display is not ON.	Blown fuse / No power.	Replace fuse / Turn power on.
