Do not move or tilt the device when in operation. WARNING! Hazard via electrical current! The device can cause injuries due to improper installation! Before installation the local power grid specification should be compared with that of the device (see type label). Connect the device only in case of compliance! Take note of the security advice!
5.2 Installation and connection
Unpack the device and remove all packing material.
Place the device on a flat, secure surface that can support the device’s weight and is dry.
Never place the device on a flammable surface.
Do not place the device near an open flame, electric or other heater, nor any other source of high temperatures.
Check that the suction cups are securely attached to the surface underneath.
The electrical circuit must be secured to a minimum of 16A. Connect the device directly to a grounded wall socket; do not use extension cords or power strips.
Place the device so that the socket is easily accessible and if needed the device can be quickly disconnected from its power source.
- Before use, carefully clean the mixing rod with disks and shakers (see 6.2 “Cleaning“).
- Wipe the device’s exterior with a moist, soft cloth.
- Insert the device’s plug into a grounded single socket.
- Check that the switch is in the position marked "O".
- Fill the shakers with the desired ingredients.- 22 - CAUTION! Do not fill the shaker beyond the maximum fill level of 700 ml. Do not underfill the shaker, as the ingredients will not be properly mixed. The minimum fill level is 250 ml.
- Set the shakers in the shaker grips. Shakers must be securely fixed, as only in this way is contact with the safety switch ensured. The safety switch prevents uncontrolled activation of the electric motors in the event the shakers are not properly attached beforehand. CAUTION! Use only the shakers included with the device!
- The bar mixer can now be activated using the switch. Always set the switch first to "I" (slow), then to "II" (fast).
- Mix the beverage until the desired consistency is achieved. WARNING! Risk of injury! Never place hands, spoons or any other object into the shaker when the mixer is turned on! Failure to follow instructions can result in serious injuries and/or cuts, as well as cause damage to the device.
- When the beverage is properly mixed, set the switch to "O" (OFF) and remove the shaker from the grip by lightly lifting it up.
- Pour the contents of the shaker into glasses and serve the beverage.
- Remove the device’s plug from its socket if it will no longer be used.
- When preparing fruit-based drinks do not use whole pieces of fruit, but only chopped or pureed fruit.
- The shaker must always be filled to a minimum of 250 ml, so the juice reaches the mixing rod.
- When preparing drinks with a thin consistency remember to not exceed the maximum fill level, in order to avoid spillage during mixing.- 23 -
- For best results, use the coldest ingredients possible. Milk-based cocktails taste best when prepared with very cold milk. The colder the milk, the thicker and foamier the cocktail.
- Add syrups and powders immediately before mixing so they do not settle at the bottom of the shaker.
- First fill the shaker with liquids, then solids.
- Begin mixing at level "I" (slow), then increase to "II" (fast).
- The bar mixer is not designed for crushing ice. Use pre-crushed ice for drinks requiring ice.
