Replace the batteries only with the same or equivalent battery type. Pay attention to the “Technical data”. Batteries must not be recharged, reactivated by other means, dismantled, thrown into re, or short-circuited. Weighing surface Start-up Inserting/changing batteries For use you need 3 batteries of type LR03 (AAA), 1.5 V (included). The battery compartment is located on the underside of the device.

1. Push the locking tab of the battery compartment cover towards the battery

compartment and remove the cover.

2. Insert the batteries as indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment. Pay

attention to the correct polarity (+/-).

3. Replace the battery compartment cover.

Only use the type of battery that is specified in the “Technical data”. Always change all batteries at the same time. Dispose of old batteries in an environmentally appropriate way (see “Disposal”). Calibrate the scale, see “Setting up the scale”. Choosing the unit of measurement The standard unit of measurement upon delivery is “kg” (kilogramme). However, the measurement can also be displayed in the English unit of measurement “lb” (pounds).
