General safety tips:

Never leave the child unattended • Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use • To avoid in- jury ensure that the child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product. • Do not let the child play with this product • Use a harness as soon as the child can sit unaided • This seat unit is not suitable for children un- der 6 months • Always use the restraint system • This product is not suitable for running or skating • Do not use any additional mattresses or pillows, since they can create a suffocation hazard. • Any load attached to the handlebar of the Koelstra GEN pushchair may affect its stability. • This buggy is designed for only one child. Make sure to only use spare parts and accessories that have been approved by Koelstra. • Do not use this product when it is damaged or broken, or when parts are missing. ATTENTION! Ensure that the person using the Koelstra GEN is an adult who knows how to use it safely. • ALWAYS be careful when crossing kerbs or going up a staircase and never use the Koelstra GEN for purposes other than transporting your child. Push the Koelstra GEN ahead at a normal walking pace; Walking faster can cause losing control and injury to the child. • NEVER leave the Koelstra GEN pram on a hill, slope or Koelstra GEN to a staircase, not even when the brakes have been applied. The pushchair can tip over and cause injury to the child. • To avoid unintended and undesired movement of the pushchair, make sure to ALWAYS apply the brakes when it is not used. • Be careful with small parts, as your child can swallow these with the subsequent risk of suffocation. • To avoid suffocation risk, keep plastic wrapping material out of the children’s reach. • To avoid damage, do not remove logos or stickers. Some logos and stickers are required by law. • Be careful with the scissor hinges when unfolding, folding or adjusting the Koelstra GEN. Be careful to not get your own or your child’s fingers or hand caught. • To avoid risk of falling objects, strangling or suffocation, do not place the Koel- stra GEN close to loose wires, cables or cords. • Make sure to reassemble the safety belt correctly by using the anchor points after taking it apart to, for instance, clean it. The safety belt must be set up correctly again. Pull the belt firmly toward, so that it is adjusted to your child and provides optimal safety. • The grocery basket can take a maximum load of 2 kgs. • Lock the front swivel wheels when folding the pushchair. If this instruction is not followed, the wheels can jam and deform, especially in warm circumstances. • Any load attached to the handle and/or on the backrest and/or on the sides of the vehicle will affect the stability of the vehicle. The safety of your child remains your own responsibility. Manufacturer warranty Koelstra GEN: As the manufacturer, Koelstra 2.0 BV, based in Staphorst (hereinafter referred to as “Koelstra”), supplies the Koelstra GEN (hereinafter referred to as “product”) including warranty.

1. The manufacturer warranty period is 24 months and commences on the day of purchase, as indicated on

the proof of purchase. The warranty period is not extended upon repairs nor in the event of replacing com- ponents and/or products. The remaining warranty period of the original product prevails.

2. The manufacturer warranty provides the right of repair of a manufacturing defect and does not apply to

exchanging or returning the product.

3. Koelstra reserves the right to cease fabrication of special models, colours, upholstery or accessories and

thus replaces the components by similar products, colours or upholstery during the manufacturer warranty.

4. The manufacturer warranty applies only to a product that is purchased for private use and is non-transfera-

ble. Therefore, only the initial owner has the right to make a claim under the warranty.

5. In order to make a claim under the manufacturer warranty, one is ought to supply the following items to the

point that the product has been purchased at:

• The defect product and/or pictures of the defect product or component,

• (A copy of) the proof of purchase including date of purchase,

• A clear description of the defect,

• A complete and correctly filled out warranty form.

GEN The manufacturer warranty is invalid under the following circumstances: - The product is returned without the original proof of purchase. - Defects and/or damages resulting from improper use and/or alterations to the product by the customer. - In case you have carried out alterations or repairs yourself or outsourced it to any third party without the written consent from Koelstra. - In case the defects have been caused by negligence or an accident and/or use or maintenance other than has been prescribed in the user manual. - Damage to the product proportionate to regular wear and tear. - In case the serial number has been damaged or removed. - Unintentional or unintended damage, improper use or insufficient care. - Damage cased by incorrect use or non-compliance with the instructions in the user manual. - Incorrect storage/care of the product. - When discolouration/stains result from cleaning, exposure to rain or sun. - Transportation damage (during air transport or any other form of transportation): make sure to carefully inspect the Koelstra product in case the product was transported through the air (or any other form of trans- portation), and report potential damage to the relevant transportation provider immediately. - Overload (the maximum weight can be found in the package leaflet). - Damage to push bars or upholstery caused by normal daily use of the product. - Punctures or tears in the wheels. - Corrosion. - A defect resulting from use of components other than they have been supplied by Koelstra 2.0. - In case of impact damage of the fabric, undercarriage and leatherette Koelstra reserves the right to alter the terms of this manufacturer warranty. Tips for maintenance: You can use these tips to properly maintain and clean your Koelstra GEN. A thorough maintenance and cleaning instruction can be found on our website www.koelstra.com. Store your Koelstra GEN and related accessories in a dry space. In case the products are wet, leave them in an unfolded position to dry and to protect against mould. Treat the wheels and metals with Teflon or silicone spray regularly (approximately once per month), so the hinges of the pram remain smooth. The aluminium components of the Koelstra GEN pram have been anodised and thus protected against external influences such as corrosion. Anodised aluminium components are poorly resistant to acidic cleaning agents or grease, increasing the risk of stains and discolouration. We therefore re- commend to clean the aluminium components of the pram with warm water and a soft cloth. Use a soft brush to remove sand and filth from the mechanism and the extendible tubes. Make sure to brush away from the hinges. Cleaning the upholstery: Important! Make sure to always read the label carefully before washing. Clean the fabric with lukewarm water and soap. Rinse with water and leave to dry. Do not use bleach or other chemical cleaning agents. Grocery basket:It is not possible to wash the grocery basket or rain cover, but you can clean these compo- nents with a moist cloth if so desired. General safety tips:
