Intended use This product is suitable for grave decora- tion only. When pass- ing this product on to others, please also include all the documents! This appliance can be used by chil- dren aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the9 GB/IE/NI appliance in a safe way and under- stand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Do not put this device in water or other liquids. Always place the product, that it cannot fall into a tub or sink. Never fill the container with liquid. Do not use the product if you notice any damages. The illuminant is not replaceable. If the illuminant fails at the end of its life, the entire light must be replaced. Battery safety information DANGER TO LIFE! Batteries are not intended for chil- dren. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention!10 GB/IE/NI CAUTION! EXPLO- SION HAZARD! Never recharge non- rechargeable batteries, shortcircuit and / or open batteries! Never throw batteries into fire or water! Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries! Risk of battery leakage In the event of a battery leak, imme- diately remove it from the device to prevent damage! Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes! In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with plenty of clean water and seek immediate medical attention! Only use the same type of batteries! Do not mix used and new batteries! Avoid extreme conditions and tem- peratures which may impact batter- ies, e.g. radiators!11 GB/IE/NI Remove batteries from the device after extended periods of non-use! Risk of equipment damage Only use the specified battery type! When inserting the battery ensure the correct polarity! This is shown in the battery compartment! If necessary, clean the batteries and device contacts before inserting batteries! Promptly remove drained batteries from the product! Initial use Note: Risk of short circuit! Make sure that the lid is always closed properly and securely, in or- der to prevent rain or moisture get into the container and cause a short circuit. Make sure the lid shows no dam- ages. from the grave light housing

. It is clipped on. Remove the small polystyrene block inside. This is only for transport safety. Remove the battery casing

and slide off the battery casing cover

This is clipped on. Carefully remove the battery com- partment

Remove the insulating strip inside. This is only for transport safety. Slide the battery compartment back into the battery casing and replace the battery casing cover. Place the battery casing back inside the grave light housing. Switch on the grave light using the ON/OFF switch

(setting ON) or off (setting OFF). The LED will flicker to simulate can- dlelight. Close the grave light housing with the grave light cover.13 GB/IE/NI Replacing batteries Note: when using alkaline batteries the batteries should be replaced approxi- mately every 180 days. To do so, remove the grave light cover

from the grave light hous- ing

and remove the battery housing

Switch the grave light off with the ON/OFF switch

(setting OFF). Carefully remove the battery casing cover

Remove the battery compartment
