USER MANUAL CECE180SB CONTINENTAL EDISON
1. The appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
2. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
3. Children shall not play with the appliance.
4. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
5. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is
left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
6. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before
changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
7. The care shall be taken when handing the sharp cutting
blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
8. The appliance must not be immersed.
9. The appliance is for household use only. Do not use

The motor may overheat. The continuous operating time of one cycle must be less than 2 minutes. Do let the appliance rest at least one minute between two cycles! After operating 5 cycles continuously, the appliance needs to cool down to the room temperature to restart.

“CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE”. ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONS
- Before connecting the appliance to the mains supply, please check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the main voltage in your home.
- Do not operate the appliance if damaged, after an appliance malfunctions or it has been damaged in any manner, return to the customer service department for repair.
- Do not allow the main cord to come into contact with the hot surface.
- Ensure that the mains lead does not overhang the worktop surface.
- Use the appliance out of children reach. Prevent them from pulling the main cord or knocking the appliance over.
- Make sure that the power switch is off before plug in.
- Before cleaning the appliance disconnect it from the power supply.
- Never immerse the appliance or power cord into water or any other liquid. Do not allow liquid to penetrate the electrical parts of the appliance.
- Never use accessories that are not recommended by the12 manufacturer. They can be dangerous for the user and may damage the device.
- DO NOT USE this appliance near water or flammable liquids.
- The cutting blades are extremely sharp, handle carefully.
- Never touch the blades while the machine is plugged in. Avoid contacting moving parts.
- Do not use the appliance to cut too hard ingredients.
- Place the food to be sliced on a flat cutting board.
- Do not operate the Electric Knife with wet hands.
- Keep hands, hair, clothing and other utensils away from foods during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, and/or damaged to the Electric Knife.13 DESCRIPTION
7. Widely serrated blades
Before first use, please check carefully if all the parts of the appliance are in good condition. If not, please contact the supplier or manufacturer.
1. Remove all packaging elements.
2. Clean blades before using the appliance for the first time
(See Cleaning and Maintenance).
3. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
4. Check that the switch is in the "Off" position before
plugging in the device.14
5. The cutting blades are extremely sharp, be careful.
ACCESSORIES DESCRIPTION Finely serrated blades Cutting fruits, vegetables, breads and alike Widely serrated blades Cutting meats and alike Note 1: for the sake of the service life, never use the appliance to cut the frozen ingredients that have been stored in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator too long (over 4 hours) or those that get the temperature below 2°C. Note 2: do not process too hard ingredient using this electric knife, such as meats with bones, vegetables with solid rootstocks or bulbous and crusty fruits.
1. Take away the Blade Sleeve carefully.
2. Attach the two blades together by inserting the Rivet on
one blade into the round socket of the Slot on the other and sliding them together along the slot.
3. Grasp the two hollows of the blade handles and insert the
blades into the blade holding holes in the Power Handle. Push both blades into place with two clicks.
4. Plug in the appliance.
6. Press Power Switch Button, the blades will begin to slice.
7. When you have finished cutting, stop the Electric Knife by
releasing the Power Switch Button immediately.
8. Unplug from electrical outlet before remove the cutting
blades. Grasp the two hollows of the blade handles by one15 hand and press the Ejector Button by the other hand. Then carefully pull the two blades from the holding holes.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Always switch off and unplug before cleaning.
2. Remove the blades from the Power Handle before washing.
Slide the blade with a rivet along the slot in the other to separate the two blades.
3. Wipe the Power Handle with a damp cloth, then dry. Never
immerse in water or other liquid or use abrasives.
4. Wash the blades in warm soapy water, then dry. The blades
can be cleaned in a dishwasher. Caution: Take care when cleaning the blades as they are extremely sharp. Note: Do not clean any part of the Electric Knife in the dishwasher.
