Operation and safety notes

Introduction We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. Familiarise yourself with the product before using it for the first time. In addition, please carefully refer to the operating instructions and the safety advice below. Only use the product as instructed and only for the indicated field of application. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it. Care and use Remove all labels from the product prior to use and rinse with clean water. Before using the wok for the first time, boil it out with water 2 to 3 times to completely remove all manufacturing residues. Lightly grease the wok. Do not overheat the wok while empty or filled to prevent the non-stick effect from weakening due to damage to the coating. Heat up the food at high/medium heat setting and then let it cook at a lower heat setting until ready. Never leave the wok unsupervised while the grease is warming: overheated grease can ignite. Never attempt to extinguish grease fires with water! Smother the flames with a lid or a dense wool blanket.8 GB/IE Only use plastic or wooden kitchen utensils to prevent damaging the non-stick coating. Do not add dripping wet meat to the wok. Grease splatting onto a glowing hob can easily cause a fire. The handle may get hot during cooking. Use a pot holder or grill gloves for your protection. The wok is suitable for gas and electric cookers. The wok is not suitable to put in an oven. Not oven safe. Select the correct cooking plate for the diameter of your wok to avoid heat loss. This wok is not suitable for dishwashers. Avoid using sharp or pointy objects or brushes to avoid damaging the material. Never hold the hot product under cold running water. For washing the product by hand, use hot water with a little ordinary washing-up liquid. Frequently cleaning of the wok with harsh cleaners may damage it and can cause discoloration. Food safe: this wok does not affect the taste or odour of prepared foods. Never use the wok if the handles are loose.9GB/IE Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product. Warranty The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below. The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly. The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture.
