How to connect the detachable keyboard to the tablet?

Hold the tablet with the camera facing up and align the keyboard guide pins with the grooves under the tablet. Apply gentle pressure until it clicks. To open, hold the palm rest and gently lift the screen.

How to use Tablet mode?

Tablet mode activates automatically when you detach the keyboard. You can interact with the touch screen by tapping, swiping, pinching, etc. To lock the orientation, use the Action Center.

How to charge the battery?

Plug the AC adapter into the Micro-USB port, then into a power outlet. The battery charges even when the computer is off. Make sure to use the provided Toshiba adapter.

How to perform a system restore?

You can restore the system from internal storage or a recovery drive. To do so, restart the computer and hold down the 0 (zero) key, or follow the on-screen instructions from Settings > Update & Security > Recovery.

How to use the TouchPad?

The TouchPad allows you to control the pointer. Tap once to click, twice to double-click, and use two fingers for a right-click. You can also pinch to zoom.

How to clean the touch screen?

Turn off the computer. Spray glass cleaner on a soft cloth (not directly on the screen) and wipe gently. Do not use abrasive products or harsh motions.

What to do if the battery no longer charges?

Make sure the AC adapter is properly connected and the outlet works. If the battery is completely discharged, let it charge for at least 30 minutes before restarting. If the problem persists, contact an authorized Toshiba service center.
