How to install the Ardes AR353 fireplace?

Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface, at least 1 meter from flammable materials. Do not place directly under an electrical outlet. Unroll the power cord completely before plugging in.

What are the safety instructions for children?

Children under 3 years must be kept away or constantly supervised. Children aged 3 to 8 may turn the appliance on/off under supervision, but must not plug, clean, or maintain it. Beware of hot surfaces that can cause burns.

How to clean the fireplace?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Use a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products or solvents. Do not immerse in water.

How to replace faulty lamps?

Unplug the appliance. Unscrew the two fixing screws at the bottom rear. Replace the lamp with one of the same specifications. Carefully close the panel.

What is the maximum heating power?

The nominal heat output is 1.8 to 2.0 kW, with a minimum output of 1.0 kW. Use both switches (I and II) to achieve maximum power.

How does the thermostat work?

The thermostat is adjustable only when the appliance is operating at full power (both switches ON). When the room temperature reaches the set level, the appliance switches to half power until the temperature drops.

Can I use an external timer?

No, it is forbidden to use a timer, programmer, or remote control system not supplied. Risk of fire if the appliance is covered or poorly positioned.

What to do in case of malfunction?

Immediately unplug the appliance and contact an approved after-sales service. Do not open the appliance yourself.

How to store the fireplace after use?

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

After removing the packaging, check the appliance for any signs of damage.

Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the power supply voltage matches the indication on the data plate.

When you don't use the appliance disconnect it from the power supply and assure that the interruptor is off.

Before connecting or disconnecting the appliance, make certain the function selector is in the OFF position.

To turn the appliance on, insert the plug in the power outlet, place the switch on ON and then select the low (I) or high (II) heating switch.

The heating switches are not independent, so in order for the appliance to operate at the highest heating power, the switch I must also be activated.

All the switches have an indicator light which turns on when the switches are ON.

The appliance is equipped with a thermostat which is adjustable (Temp Adj) only when the appliance is operating at the maximum power with both the switches in the ON position. When the thermostat intervenes the appliance continues to operate at half power until the room temperature drops enough to restart the flow of hot air at maximum power.

The regulator (Dimming) can be used to adjust the luminosity of the aesthetic front panel.

Before replacing the appliance in its package, make sure it has cooled sufficiently.

Disconnect the plug from the socket and let the appliance cool down well before cleaning it.

This appliance does not require any special maintenance.

In order to clean the appliance, use a soft or slight damp cloth.

Never use abrasives or chemical solvents.

Do not use very wet substances, liquids or cloths to prevent water from entering into the appliance and irreparably damaging it.

NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE INTO THE WATER.

Replacing the lamps.

Unscrew the two screws clamping the panel located on the lower back part of the appliance.

Replace the lamp which is not working with another having the same technical characteristics indicated on the same.

Close the panel correctly.

This guarantee applies only if it has been duly filled in and is submitted with the receipt showing the date of purchase.

The guarantee covers the replacement or repair of parts making up the appliance which were faulty at source due to manufacturing faults.
