How to turn on the foot warmer?

Plug in the device, then slide the multi-position button to position 1, 2 or 3. The corresponding indicator lights up.

How to adjust the temperature?

Use the sliding button to choose among 3 heat levels. For quick heating, start at the highest level, then lower if necessary.

Does the device shut off automatically?

Yes, the foot warmer has an automatic shut-off function that cuts off the heat after approximately 90 minutes. To reactivate, set the switch to OFF, wait 5 seconds, then set it back to the desired position.

Can I use this foot warmer to warm animals?

No, this foot warmer is only designed to warm human feet. It must not be used for animals.

Can I use it with shoes?

How to clean the foot warmer?

Always unplug the device before cleaning. For small stains, use a damp cloth or sponge with a little mild liquid detergent. Do not use chemical or abrasive products. The switch must never come into contact with water.

Is the inner cover washable?

Yes, the removable inner cover can be machine washed at 30°C, wool program. Use a delicate laundry detergent. Do not tumble dry or iron.

What to do if the device no longer heats?

First check that the switch is on a heat position and the indicator is lit. If the indicator is off, the automatic shut-off may have activated. If the problem persists, the device may be defective: do not attempt to repair it yourself, contact customer service.

Is this foot warmer safe for children?

• This foot warmer must not be used by persons who are not sensitive to heat or by other vulnerable persons who may not be able to react to overheating (e.g. diabetics, people with skin alterations due to illness or scarred tissue in the application area, after taking pain relief medication or alcohol).
• This foot warmer must not be used by very young children (0-3 years old) as they are unable to respond to overheating.
• This foot warmer can be used by children older than 3 and younger than 8 years of age provided they are supervised. For this, the controller must always be set to the minimum temperature.
• This foot warmer may be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised and have been instructed on how to use the foot warmer safely, and are fully aware of the consequent risks of use.
• Children must not play with the foot warmer.

• This foot warmer must only be connected to the mains voltage that is specified on the label.

• The electrical and magnetic fields emitted by this foot warmer may interfere with the function of a pacemaker. However, they are still well below the limits: electrical field strength: max. 5000 V/m, magnetic field strength: max. 80 A/m, magnetic flux density: max. 0.1 millitesla. Please therefore consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this foot warmer.

• Do not pull, twist or make sharp bends in the cables.
• If they are not positioned properly, there may be a risk of becoming entangled in, being strangled by, tripping over, or stepping on the cable and controller of the foot warmer. The user must ensure that excess lengths of cable, and cables in general, are safely routed.
• Please check this foot warmer frequently for signs of wear and tear or damage. If any such signs are evident, if the foot warmer has been used incorrectly or if it no longer heats up, it must be checked by the manufacturer before being switched on again.
• Under no circumstances should you open or repair the foot warmer (including the accessories) yourself because faultless functionality can no longer be guaranteed thereafter. Failure to observe this will invalidate the warranty.
• If the mains connection cable of this foot warmer is damaged, it must be disposed of. If it cannot be removed, the foot warmer must be disposed of.
• When this foot warmer is switched on:
• Do not place any sharp objects on it
• Do not place any heat sources, such as hot water bottles, heat pads or similar, on it
• The electronic components in the controller warm up when the foot warmer is in use. For this reason, the controller must never be covered or placed on the foot warmer when it is in use.

4 operation

4.1 Safety

CAUTION!

• The foot warmer has been provided with a SAFETY SYSTEM. This sensor technology prevents overheating of the foot warmer on the entire surface through automatic deactivation in case of breakdown. When the SAFETY SYSTEM has switched off the foot warmer, the temperature levels in activated condition are no longer lighted.
• Do note that for reasons of safety the foot warmer can no longer be used after a breakdown and should be sent to the indicated service address.
• Never connect the faulty foot warmer to a different switch of the same type. This would also ensure a final deactivation through the safety system in the switch.

4.2 Use

CAUTION

Make sure the foot warmer does not fold or crumple during use.

• Insert the plug in the socket.

4.3 Switching on

Slide the position button for ON/OFF and the heating positions to position 1, 2 or 3 to switch on the foot warmer. In activated condition, a heating position is lighted - 1, 2 or 3.

4.4 Setting the heating position

Position 1: minimum heating

Position 2: medium heating

Position 3: maximum heating

1 ATTENTION

The foot warmer heats up the fastest when you first switch on the highest temperature level.

WARNING

If the foot warmer is used for several hours, we recommend setting the lowest heating position (position 1) to prevent the user from overheating.

4.5 Automatic deactivation function

The foot warmer has been provided with an automatic deactivation function. This means that the supply of heat is stopped approx. 90 minutes after the foot warmer was activated. In order to use the foot warmer again, you must first switch the position button OFF. After approximately 5 seconds you are able to switch the foot warmer on again.

4.6 Switching off

Slide the position button downwards to switch off the foot warmer. The heating position no longer lights up.

1 ATTENTION

If the foot warmer is not used for a number of days: slide the position button downwards to switch off the foot warmer and remove the plug from the socket.

5 cleaning & maintenance

WARNING

Before cleaning the foot warmer, always remove the plug from the socket. Otherwise you will run the risk of an electric shock.

CAUTION!

The switch may never come into contact with water or other liquids. It could get damaged as a result.

• Use a dry lint-free cloth for cleaning the switch. Do not use chemical cleaning agents or abrasives.
• Small stains on the foot warmer can be removed with a cloth or a damp sponge and, if necessary, a little bit of gentle detergent liquid.

CAUTION!

The foot warmer should not be dry cleaned, spun, dried in the machine, mangled or ironed. It could get damaged as a result.

• The removable inner cover can be washed in the washing machine.
• Set the washing machine to a 30^ program (wool wash program). Out of environmental considerations, we recommend washing the inner cover at the same time as other items. Use a gentle detergent in accordance with the manufacturer's dosing instructions.

WARNING

• Never switch on the foot warmer in order to dry it in this way! You will run the risk of an electric shock.
• Only start using the foot warmer again when the inner cover and foot warmer have fully dried. Otherwise you will run the risk of an electric shock.

6 storing

If you do not use the foot warmer for a longer period of time, we recommend storing it in its original packaging.

CAUTION!

• Please allow the footwarmer to cool down first. Otherwise, the footwarmer may be damaged.
• To avoid sharp folds in the footwarmer, do not place objects on top of it while it is being stored.

7 disposal

Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the symbol indicating separate collection of such equipment must be returned to a municipal waste collection point.

We do not need to remind you of the importance of service. After all, we develop our products to a standard so that you can enjoy them for many years, without any concerns. If, nevertheless, there is a problem, we believe you are entitled to a solution straight away. Hence our products come with an exchange service, on top of the rights and claims you are entitled to by law. By exchanging a product or part, we save you time, effort and costs.

2-year full manufacturer's warranty

1. Customers enjoy a 2-year full manufacturer's warranty on all Inventum products. Within this period, a faulty product or part will always be exchanged for a new model, free of charge. In order to claim under the 2-year full manufacturer's warranty, you can either return the product to the shop you bought it from or contact the Inventum costumer service department via the form at www.inventum.eu/service-aanvraag.
2. The 2-year warranty period starts from the date the product is bought.
3. In order to claim under the warranty, you must produce a copy of the original receipt.
4. The warranty applies only to normal domestic use of Inventum products within the Netherlands.

Breakdowns or faults outside the warranty period

1. Breakdowns or faults in small or large domestic appliances outside the warranty period, can be reported to the costumer services department via the form at www.inventum.eu/service-aanvraag or by calling the costumer services department.
2. The costumer services department may ask you to send the product for inspection or repair. The costs of dispatch will be at your expense.
3. The inspection to establish whether repair is possible involves a charge. You need to grant your permission for this, in advance.
4. In the event of a large domestic appliance, Inventum, at your request, can send out a service engineer. In that case, you will be charged the call-out costs, as well as parts and labour.
5. In the event of an instruction to repair, the repair costs must be paid in advance. In the event of a repair by a service engineer, the costs of the repair must be settled with the engineer onsite, preferably by means of PIN payment.

Warranty exclusions

1. The following is excluded from the aforesaid warranties:

normal wear and tear;
- improper use or misuse;
insufficient maintenance;
- failure to comply with the operating and maintenance instructions;
- unprofessional installation or repairs by third parties or the customer himself;
- non-original parts used by the customer;
- use for commercial or business purposes;
- removal of the serial number and/or rating label.

2. dough hooks, baking tins, (carbon) filters, etc.;

3. batteries, bulbs, carbon filters, fat filters etc.;
   external connection cables;

4. glass accessories and glass parts such as oven doors;
   and similar items.

5. Transport damage not caused by Inventum is also excluded. Therefore, inspect your new device before starting to use it. If you detect any damage, you must report this to the store where you purchased the product within 5 working days, or to the Inventum customer service department via the form at www.inventum.eu/service-aanvraag. If transport damage is not reported within this period, Inventum does not accept any liability in this respect.

6. The following are excluded from warranty and/or replacement: faults, loss of and damage to the device as a result of an event that is normally insured under the home contents insurance.

Important to know

1. The replacement or repair of a faulty product, or a part thereof, does not lead to an extension of the original warranty period.
2. If a complaint is unfounded, all costs arising from it will be at the customer's expense.
3. Following expiry of the warranty period, all costs of repair or replacement, including administration costs, dispatch and call-out charges, will be charged to the customer.
4. Inventum cannot be held liable for damage caused by external events, unless this liability arises from mandatory statutory provisions.
5. These warranty and service provisions are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be settled exclusively by the competent Dutch court.
