The following are important notes on the installation, use and maintenance; save this instruction manual for future reference; use the equipment only as specified in this guide; any other use is considered improper and dangerous; therefore, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible in the event of damages caused by improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.
Before use, ensure the equipment is undamaged; if in doubt, do not attempt to use it and contact the authorized service center; do not leave packing materials (i.e. plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, staples, etc.) within the reach of children as they are potential sources of danger; always remember that they must be separately collected. Make sure that the rating information given on the technical label are compatible with those of the electricity grid; the installation must be performed according to the manufacturer's instructions considering the maximum power of the appliance as shown on the label; an incorrect installation may cause damage to people, animals or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible thereof.
If it is necessary to use adapters, multiple sockets or electrical extensions, use only those that comply with current safety standards; in any case do not exceed the power consumption limits indicated on the electrical adapter and / or extensions, as well as the maximum power shown on multiple adaptor.
Do not leave the unit plugged; better to remove the plug from the mains when the device is not in use. Always disconnect from power supply if you leave it unattended.
Cleaning operations should be carried out after unplugging the unit.
If the unit is out of order and you do not want to fix it, it must be made inoperable by cutting power cord.
- Do not allow the power cord to get closer to sharp objects or in contact with hot surfaces; do not pull it to disconnect the plug.
- Do not use the appliance in the event of damage to the power cord, plug, or in case of short circuits; to repair the product only address an authorized service center.
- Do not handle or touch the appliance with wet hands or bare feet. Do not expose the appliance to harmful weather conditions such as rain, moisture, frost, etc.. Always store it in a dry place.
- This appliance cannot be used by children, even if they're more than 8 years old.

If the power cord is damaged, or in case of failure and / or malfunction do not tamper with the unit. The reparation must be done by manufacturer or by service center authorized by the manufacturer in order to prevent any risk. Failure to comply with the above may compromise the unit safety and invalidate the warranty.
WARNING: This appliance includes heating function. Surfaces, other than functional surfaces may develop high

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
At first use clean the parts intended to contact food: container, lid, accessories.
Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running. Remove the plug after each use.
Unplug the appliance after using or before cleaning.
Place on solid and stable surfaces.
Do not place near flame, stoves, hotplates. Do not use near water.
Keep the appliance 30 cm from other objects to ensure the good heat releasing. Do not place anything on the rice cooker. Do not obstruct the steam vent during function.
Do not let cord or plug inside the appliance during operation.
Always use the appliance closed. Do not move the rice
cooker during function.
Use only the power cord supplied with the unit.
Before using the appliance, make sure that the unit is properly assembled.
Do not use if the container is damaged.
Put water and rice only in the container and only before switching on the rice cooker.
WARNING: During use hot steam come out from steam vent.
Lift and open lid carefully and away from face to avoid scalding.
Use extreme caution when removing hot container with food.
When the product is working touch only the handle on the lid.
Let every part of rice cooker cool down before cleaning and storing.
For cleaning, follow instructions reported on paragraph “Cleaning” in this instruction manual.

BEFORE FIRST USE
WARNING! Before proceeding, make sure that the product is unplugged.
Wash the removable cooking pot (9) with warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. To remove any dust that may have accumulated during packaging, clean the lid and the stainless steel housing (5) with a slightly damp cloth.
IMPORTANT: Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners on any part of the unit.
OPERATING
RICE COOKING
- With the measuring cup (11), take the desired quantity of rice (one cup is suitable for 2 people). Put the rice in a bowl. Don't use the container (9) to avoid scratches. Wash rice with water.
- Put the rice in the container (9).
- Put UNSALTED water in the container (9) and close the lid until blocking.
WARNING: The rate rice/water is very important to cook the rice well. We suggest to put 2 cups of water for each cup of rice. Otherwise you can rinse water until reaching the level indicated in the container (4, 6, 8, 10 = amount of cups of rice)
- Connect the appliance to a suitable socket.
- Press the ON/OFF button (8). The working light (6) switches on to indicate that the appliance is working.
WARNING: during rice cooking DO NOT LIFT THE LID.
Pay attention to the hot steam that comes out from the steam vent (3)
- When cooking in finished, the appliance will automatically pass from cooking (red light 6, Cook) to keep warm function (yellow light 7, Keep warm). For best cooking we suggest to keep the rice inside for 10 minutes, in order to let the rice absorb all the water.
WARNING: lift up the rice carefully avoid scalding.
NOTE: the rate between rice and water highly depends on the type of rice and the type of cooking. To have the perfect cooking, you can start from the suggested rate 1 cup of rice / 2 cups of water, and then modify it based on the type of rice and the cooking level desired.
REHEAT RICE
To reheat cooked rice, put in the container rice and 60ml of cold water for each cup of cooked rice. Mix, close the lid and switch on the rice cooker, that will stop automatically when reheat finished.
STEAM COOKING
- Put water in the container (9). The minimum amount of water can be 2 cups.
- Place the steam cooking container (13) over the container (9). We suggest to not cook different ingredients in the same container, to avoid mixing of flavours.
- Put the food, close the lid and switch on the appliance with the button (8).
- Periodically check the status of food to avoid overcooking.
- If you need to prolong cooking, add water. When finished, press the button (8) to stop the appliance, open the lid and take the food.
CLEANING
WARNING: Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the appliance and power cord into the water.
- Clean the lid and the external body with a non-abrasive damp, avoid using detergents or abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents. The cloth should not be too wet, as if the water flows inside it can seriously damage the unit.
- It is possible to wash the container (9) in hot water with detergent; rinse and dry thoroughly before assembling the accessories.
