How to turn on the CEKT5B3 scale?

To turn on the scale, place it on a flat surface, press the power button (main button). The LED screen lights up and displays "0". If the scale does not turn on, check the batteries.

How to choose the measurement unit?

Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available units: grams (g), pounds/ounces (lb:oz), milliliters (ml), and fluid ounces (fl.oz). The selected unit appears on the screen.

How to use the tare function?

Place an empty container on the scale, then press the Z/T (zero/tare) button to reset the display to zero. Then add your ingredients; only the net weight of the ingredients will be displayed. You can repeat this operation for multiple ingredients.

How to measure water or milk volume?

Place the scale on a flat surface, turn it on and press UNIT until you select the volume mode (water or milk). Place a container on the scale, press Z/T to tare, then pour the liquid. The screen displays the volume in ml or fl.oz.

What to do if the screen displays "Err"?

The display "Err" indicates an overload. Immediately remove the too heavy object from the scale to avoid damaging it. The maximum capacity is 5000 g.

What to do if the screen displays "Lo"?

The display "Lo" means the batteries are low. Replace the three AAA batteries with new ones, respecting the polarity.

How to clean and maintain the scale?

■ BUTTONS FUNCTION

Press the circle button to trun on the scale. Once available, button would be lighted up and flicker.

Mode conversion / Unit conversion

1. Press the UNIT button to convert the mode and unit circularly
2. Long press switch button to turn off or auto power-off after a few seconds

Note: The unit system of scale depends on scale destination or the requirement of distributor.

WEIGHING

1. Place the scale on a solid and flat surface.
2. Place bowl (if any) on the scale.
3. Press button to tum on the scale
4. Start weighing when LED shows "0". Press (UNIT) button to convert to weighing mode.
5. Load weighing object on scale(or bowl) to start weighing. LED will show the weight reading.

VOLUME MEASURING

1. Place the scale on a solid and flat surface.
2. Press button to turn on.
3. Press (M) button to convert the mode to water or milk volume mode when LED shows "0".
4. Put a container onto the scale platform, LED shows the weight of the container.
5. Press button for Zero or Tare.
6. Pour liquid (water or milk) into the container, LED shows the volume of the liquid.

ZERO & TARE FUNCTION

To weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale. Put first Load on the scale, get weight reading. Press ZEBO button to reset the LED reading to "0" before adding next load. You can repeat this operation.

Condition 1: "ZERO" function

When total sum of all loads on scale

≤4% of scale's max.weight capacity:

LED will show Og each time is pressed.

Og and meanwhile an icon o on the LED mean ZERO function is activated. Max.weight capacity remains unchanged.

(For example:

When capacity is 5000g, 4% is 200g;

When capacity is 3000g, 4% is 120g)

Condition 2: "TARE" function

When total sum of all loads on scale

4% of scale's max.weight capacity:

LED will show Og each time is pressed

Og and meanwhile an icon T on the LED mean TARE function is activated. Max.Weight capacity is reduced by total weight of all loads.

(For example:

When capacity is 5000g, 4% is 200g; When capacity is 3000g, 4% is 120g)

Under this condition:

By pressing , you can see the total weight of all loads on the scale. If you want to weigh more loads, just press to reset LED reading to '0' again.

1. OVER LOADING WARNING

When LED shows Err, it is over loaded (Max capacity is shown on product), please take off the object to prevent damage to the scale.

1. LOW POWER WARNING

When LED shows Lo, battery power is low, please change new battery(ies).
