1. Earthing (grounding) Connection

Signalsthathavebeenampliedbythebuilt-inampareoutput from the analog audio output jacks (L/R). Caution When set to ON, if connected to the PHONO inputs of an amplier, for example, the output from speakers and headphones will be very loud, which could damage equipment or harm hearing.

3. USB port (USB B-type)

Connect this to the USB port of a computer to convert the audio signal from this unit to digital and output it to the computer.

4. DC input connector

After completing all other connections, connect the included AC adapter to this jack. ConrmthatthepowerplugoftheACadapterispluggedintoa power outlet. Note

  • Do not use any AC adapter other than the one included.
  • Hold the power plug when plugging it into an outlet or unplugging it. Never pull or yank on the power cord.
  • Unplug the power cord from the outlet when you are not planning to use the unit from extended period of time.

5. Standby/ON button

  • Press the STANDBY/ON button to turn the unit on or put it in Standby.
  • Four anti shock legs, to keep the needle from skipping.

7. Analog audio output jacks (L/R)

Basic operation Playing records

  • Press the STANDBY/ON button on the back of the unit to turn it on.
  • Open the turntable cover slowly.
  • Place a record on the turntable. When playing a 45 RPM large-hole single record, use the included adapter.
  • Set the rotation speed according to (RPM)the record. The rota- tion speed can be set to 33 1/3 or 45 RPM.
  • Turn the START/STOP rotation knob to START to start the turntable.
  • When the START/STOP rotation knob is set to START, the turntable will start rotating and the blue LED will light.
  • Move the tone arm clasp to the right to release the tone arm.
  • Lift the cue lever. You can also leave the cue lever down and moved the raised tone arm over the record and then lower the tone arm slowly to start playback.
  • Move the tone arm to the edge of the record or the track where you want to start playback.
  • Lower the cue lever. Lower the tone arm slowly until the stylus touches the record and playback begins. We recommend that you close the turn- table cover during record playback to avoid dust. Caution
  • Do not place anything on the turntable cover. Objects on the cover might cause noise due to vibrations or fall off, especially during playback.
  • During playback, do not touch the tone arm or the rotating record.
  • Do not stop turntable rotation during playback.
  • During record playback, feedback could occur if the volume is too loud. If this happens, lower the volume of the amplier. Use a soft dry cloth for periodic cleaning of the product. For more severe stains, please dampen the cloth with water only. Anything else has the chance of dissolving the paint or damaging the plastic. Temperature. Ensure that the ambient temperature is between 0°C and +45°C before turning on the device. Maintenance. If you have problems, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Return it to your Caliber Europe BV dealer for servicing. Placement. Placetheproductonaatsurface.Provideenoughspacearoundtheproductforsufcient ventilation. Heat. Do not locate the appliance in the vicinity of a heat surface or in direct sunlight. Voltage. Check the main voltage indicated on the adapter/product rating label in accordance to the local electricity supply, if it doesn’t, return the product to the store where you bought it. Plug. Remove the plug from the outlet, when the product is unused for a long period of time and during thunderstorms. Accessories. Use only supplied accessories IMPORTANT - read before rst use! To protect the turntable from damage during transportation, a transit screw is located on the upper right of the turntable platform.
  • Before playing, please use a screwdriver to turn the transit screw in clockwise direction (screw going down) completely to unlock the turntable.
  • To lock the turntable again for transportation, please turn screw in counter-clockwise direction. Belt Notice
  • The red strap is wrapped around the belt, this allows you to use this red strap as a mounting aid.
