Does the TP-LINK Archer AX55 have an easy LAN port isolation feature?
Frequently Asked Questions - 15 d
Response Notice-Facile

According to the documentation for the TP-LINK Archer AX55, LAN port isolation (VLAN) is not mentioned among the router's features. The manual for this device does not offer a native function to easily segment or isolate the 1 Gb/s ports.

The documented network security features include:

  • SPI firewall and DoS protection
  • MAC filter
  • VPN (OpenVPN/PPTP)
  • Parental control
  • QoS (bandwidth management)

If you need to isolate the LAN ports, here are some alternatives:

  • Check the web administration interface (192.168.0.1) to see if there are any advanced options not mentioned in the manual
  • Use a managed network switch with VLAN support downstream of the router
  • Consider a higher-end TP-LINK model that natively supports VLAN
