USER MANUAL Soft Babywarmer Zensy
- After removing the packaging, check the baby warmer for any signs of damage. In case of visible damage, do not use it and contact your supplier.
- This baby warmer may not be used by children or people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are adequately supervised and have been instructed on the safe use of the baby warmer by a person responsible for their safety.
- Do not use the baby warmer on ill persons or infants who are insensitive to heat.
- Do not leave parts of the packaging within the reach of children so it cannot be used as a toy.
- The baby warmer has been designed and manufactured to operate as a baby warmer for domestic use. Any other use is considered inappropriate and dangerous.
- This baby warmer is not meant to be used for medical purposes.
- This baby warmer is an electrical device and must be treated as such.
- Do not use this device near to a bathtub, a shower stall, or a swimming pool.
- Do not leave the device exposed to weathering (rain, sunlight).
- For safety reasons, the baby warmer should never be opened.
- Do not warm the baby warmer in the microwave.
- The baby warmer has been filled with water at the time it was manufactured. It may only be filled by the manufacturer.
- Do not drink the content of the baby warmer.
- During charging do not use the baby warmer or put it in bed.
- Should after charging the temperature be experienced as too high, let the baby warmer cool down a bit before using it.
- Do not use the baby warmer if it is damaged or leaking.
- Do not connect the baby warmer to its power supply if it is not filled with water.
- Only use the charger and power cable supplied with the device.
- Never touch the device with wet or humid hands.
- Do not subject it to rough handling.
- The power cable should be extended to its full length to avoid overheating. EN10
- Before connecting the device, make sure that the power supply voltage matches the indicati- on on the data plate.
- Do not use adapters or extension cables which do not meet the current safety standards or that exceed the current carrying capacity limits.
WARNINGS FOR CHARGING
- Do not cover the baby warmer when charging it and do not leave it fully in the cover. While charging the baby warmer may be half in the cover.
- In case of a breakdown or malfunctioning of the device, disconnect it at once. Do not attempt to repair it, but take it to a point of sale.
- The cable is connected to a safety device that is triggered if the pressure within the baby warmer increases too much. lf, during charging, the baby warmer inflates excessively, enabling the safety device, unplug the power cable, do not use the baby warmer and contact a point of sale.
- Place the baby warmer on a flat and stable surface when charging it and keep the baby warmer in a flat position with the connector facing upward.
- When charging the baby warmer, only lay it onto surfaces that do resist temperatures higher than 90 °C (194°F).
- Always stay alert during charging.
- Do not charge near children.
- Make sure the baby warmer is only connected to the power source during charging. After it has finished charging, disconnect the plug from the power socket and disconnect the charger from the baby warmer.
- Do not tug on the power cable or on the device itself to remove the plug from the socket.
- lf the power cable gets damaged, it has to be replaced only at a service centre approved by the manufacturer.
- Never use the baby warmer without the cover.
- Avoid direct contact between the skin and the baby warmer, even when the cover is being used. Always keep a minimum distance of one hand-width between your child and the baby warmer.
- Do not use the baby warmer in a stroller.
- Do not use the baby warmer when it is connected to its power source.
- Always check the temperature of your baby regularly, the neck or feet may not be clammy.
- Do not exert pressure on the baby warmer, do not squeeze it, do not place it underneath the weight of your body or underneath part of it. EN11 Use The baby warmer is meant to pre-heat the cradle/crib/cot of a baby. There are some safety measures for when the baby warmer is used while the baby is in the cradle/crib/cot (see step 3) STEP 1 | CONNECTING
- Open the safety cover of the connector (2) on the baby warmer.
- Press the charger (1) into the connector (2).
- Press the plug of the charger into the power socket. The red indicator light will turn; the baby warmer is charging now.
- When the baby warmer is used for the first time, it can emit an unpleasant smell. This is caused by the reaction of the insulating material to heat. STEP 2 | CHARGING
- The baby warmer has a thermostat which automatically turns o the device when the thermostat reaches a temperature of 65 °C (149°F). The red indicator light turns o and the baby warmer is warmed up. The charging time is approximately 6 minutes.
- After it has finished charging, disconnect the plug from the power socket and disconnect the charger from the baby warmer.
- The baby warmer can also be charged to a lower temperature. To do this, simply maintain a shorter charging time by removing the plug from the power socket before the red indicator light turns of.
- Finally put the baby warmer in the cover and seal the cover with the Velcro strap.
- The baby warmer is now ready to be used. STEP 3 | USAGE
- Place the baby warmer on the mattress next to the baby. Always maintain a minimum distance of a hand width between the baby and the baby warmer.
- When there is not enough space next to the baby, place the baby warmer next to the feet with a minimum distance of a hand width or place the baby warmer between the blankets but closer to the baby.
- When the baby’s temperature is too low, then on instruction of the obstetrician the baby warmer is placed against the baby. The baby warmer with cover is then always wrapped in a cloth or towel. STEP 4 | RECHARGING
- After 3 hours (under the blankets), the baby warmer is cooled down to a temperature of approximately 45°C (113°F).
- As soon as the baby warmer is cooled down to a temperature below 40°C (104°F), the baby warmer can be recharged again.
- To recharge the baby warmer, simply connect it again to the power socket (see step 2). EN12
- Frequently examine the baby warmer to make sure there are no signs of wear or deterioration. lf there are such signs or if the baby warmer has been used improperly, bring it to a point of sale.
- Disconnect the plug from the socket and let the baby warmer cool down well before cleaning lt.
- In order to clean the baby warmer, use a soft or slight damp cloth.
- Never use oil soaps, abrasives or chemical solvents.
- Do not use liquids or very wet cloths to prevent water from entering the baby warmer and irreparably damaging it.
- NEVER IMMERSE THE BABY WARMER INTO THE WATER!

Warranty Validity: 2 years from date of purchase. The warranty is only valid in conjunction with proof of purchase. The warranty covers the replacement of the entire unit or parts when there is malfunctioning caused by a manufacturing defect. After the expiration of the warranty there are costs attached to any repairs. The supplier takes no responsibility for any damage or injury to persons, animals and belongings due to misuse of the baby warmer or by failure to follow the accompanying instructions. Exclusion All rights in respect of the guarantee and the responsibility of the supplier shall lapse if the device:
- Is dismantled by unauthorized persons;
- Is not properly used, stored or transported. Furthermore, all external damage to the device that does not aect the proper functioning is excluded from the warranty.
