How to turn on and off the ZTE Light Tab 2?

To turn on, press and hold the Power button. To turn off, press and hold the same button then select 'Power off' and confirm with OK.

How to insert the SIM card and microSD card?

Remove the back cover. Insert the Micro-SIM card into the designated slot, then the microSD card (if not installed). Replace the cover.

How to wake the tablet from standby mode?

Briefly press the Power button to activate the screen, then slide the unlock icon to the right.

Can I use the tablet while charging?

It is not recommended to use the tablet during charging for safety reasons. See the manual for more details.

How to transfer files to the tablet?

Connect the tablet to a computer via the USB cable. On the tablet, select 'File transfer' as the connection mode. You can then copy files.

What to do if the screen becomes unresponsive?

Try a forced restart: press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds until the tablet turns off, then turn it back on.

How to reset the tablet to factory settings?

Go to Settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset. Warning: this erases all data.

What file types can I play on the tablet?

The tablet supports common formats: MP3 for audio, MP4 for video, JPEG for images, and PDF for documents.

How to save battery life?

Reduce screen brightness, turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when not in use, and close background applications.

Before Getting Started

Powering On & Off

1. To power on your device, hold Power Key.
2. To power off your device, hold Power Key to get the phone options, select the Power off option, and then tap OK.

Switching Your V9A to Sleep Mode

Sleep Mode suspends your device to a low-power-consumption state while the display is off to save battery power. Your device also goes into Sleep Mode automatically when you leave it idle after a certain period of time.

Press Power Key.

Waking Up Your V9A from Sleep Mode

1. Press Power Key to activate your screen display.
2. Drag the unlock icon to the right.
