How to connect the subwoofer to the soundbar?

Press and hold the CONNECT button on the back of the soundbar for 4 seconds. Then, press and hold the CONNECT button on the back of the subwoofer for 4 seconds. Release when the rear light turns solid green. Press the CONNECT button on the soundbar again to finish.

What to do if the subwoofer produces no sound?

Check that the soundbar is on and producing sound. Increase the bass with the Polk remote. Ensure the power cord is properly plugged in and the rear light is solid green. If the light flashes, re-pair the subwoofer. Unplug the power for 30 seconds then plug back in.

What does the flashing green light on the back of the subwoofer mean?

A flashing green light indicates that the subwoofer is not connected to the soundbar. You need to follow the pairing procedure: press and hold the CONNECT button on both devices for 4 seconds.

How to update the subwoofer?

The subwoofer updates automatically as soon as the soundbar receives an update via the Internet. Ensure that the soundbar is connected to your home network.

What is the maximum distance between the subwoofer and the soundbar?

Place the subwoofer on the same wall as the TV, within 10 meters (30 feet) of the soundbar.

What to do if the rear light is off?

Check that the power cord is properly connected to the subwoofer and to a working mains outlet. If the light remains off, contact customer support.

How to reset the subwoofer?

Unplug the power cord from the subwoofer for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. This resets the device without erasing settings.

Can I use the subwoofer with other soundbars?

The React Sub subwoofer is designed to work with the Polk React soundbar. Pairing with other devices is not guaranteed.

POSITION YOUR SUBWOOFER

1. Unpack the subwoofer and power cable.

2. Place the subwoofer along the same wall as the TV, no more than 30 ft (10m) from the sound bar.

3. Connect the power cord to the back of the subwoofer.
4. Connect the other end of the power cord into an AC power outlet.

CONNECT YOUR SUBWOOFER

Enter pairing mode on the sound bar

1. Press and hold the CONNECT button on the back of the sound bar for about four seconds.

Connect the subwoofer

1. Press and hold the CONNECT button on the back of the subwoofer for about four seconds.
2. Release the button when the light on the back of the subwoofer is solid green.

1. Press and release the CONNECT button on the back of the sound bar to complete pairing.

I DO NOT HEAR SOUND FROM MY SUBWOOFER

• Check that the sound bar is powered on and playing audio.
• Turn up the bass using the provided Polk remote.
• Check that the power cable is secure in the back of the subwoofer and wall outlet.
• Check that a solid green light is visible on the back of the subwoofer.
• Unplug power from the subwoofer for 30 seconds and then plug back in.
• If the light on the back of the subwoofer is flashing green, you will need to reconnect the subwoofer to the sound bar using the instructions in "Connect Your Subwoofer".

UPDATING YOUR SUBWOOFER

The subwoofer is automatically updated whenever your sound bar is connected to the Internet and receives an update. Refer to your sound bar's Quick Start Guide and make sure your sound bar is properly connected to your home network.
