• The appliance should be used only for coee, various cocktails, sauces, baby food, milk shakes, etc.

• Never put your ngers or other ob- jects (hair, clothes, cooking utensils, knives, screwdrivers, etc.) near the axis when the appliance is being used.

• Read all the instrucons carefully before using the appliance and keep them in a safe place for future use.

• Do not use the appliance outdoors and keep it away from sources of heat (e.g., electric stove) and direct sun- light.

• Please do not keep the appliance in immediate proximity to water sources (e.g., washbasin).12 English

• Do not use this appliance with wet hands.

• Keep it on an suitable surface so that it does not p over.

• Disconnect the power plug from the mains socket when the appliance is not being used or for cleaning.

• Operate the product only with the voltage specied on the type plate of the appliance.

• Do not move the appliance when it is being operated.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• This appliance is not intended to be used, cleaned or maintained by peo- ple (including children up to the age of 8 years) with reduced physical,13English sensory or mental abilies or lack of experience and/or knowledge. Unless they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or have received instrucons from this person about how to use the appliance and have understood the risks involved.

• In the interest of child safety, please do not leave any packaging material (plasc bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc.) lying around.

• If the power cable is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufac- turer, his specialist dealer, or an equal- ly qualied person, so as to prevent any risk.

1. Scope of delivery

• Ensure that the packaging of this appliance has been disposed of properly.

• Keep all small parts and plasc bags away from babies and children.

• Aer removing the appliance from the packaging, clean it with a damp cloth. Make sure that no water gets into the appliance and never immerse the appli- ance in water to clean it!

• Ensure that the rated voltage of the connected socket corresponds to that specied on the rang plate of the appliance.

• Place the product on a at and dry surface.

• Ensure that all parts of the appliance are correctly assembled before using the appliance.

• Do not switch on the drink mixer without the cup. Never touch rotang parts of the appliance!

• Before using the appliance, lay out the cable completely and make sure that it is not damaged.

• The appliance is only intended for short-term operaon of 1 minute. Do not use it for longer than 1 minute in connuous operaon.

• Make sure that you always take a break of 1 minute between each use.

Remove the appliance from the packaging and remove all packaging material. Check that the supplied appliance is complete. Ensure that the On/O switch is in the ‘O’ posion (0) before connecng the mains plug to a suitable and properly connected socket. Fill the stainless steel beaker supplied with the desired ingredients and set the on/o switch to ‘I’ or ‘II’ to select the desired speed level. 1 Beater 2 Blender jug 3 On/o switch 4 Safety switch 5 Height adjustment 6 Base17English Insert the cup into the holder and press the height adjustment buon. Place the blender on the beaker so that the safety switch (4) is always pressed by the beak- er. The blending process will not start if the safety switch is not pressed! Finally, set the on/o switch to ‘0’ and allow the appliance to cool down for approx. 1 minute. Keep the drink mixer dry at all mes. Cauon! The appliance should not be switched on for longer than 1 minute each me it is used in order to avoid overheang!

6. Cleaning and care

Make sure that you switch o the appliance completely and disconnect the plug from the socket before you start cleaning and maintenance. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids! Clean the blender housing with a damp cloth. To clean the blender jug, ll the jug with a lile water and start the blending process. If you want to store the appliance, allow it to cool down completely.

7. Safety instrucons and disclaimer

Never aempt to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modicaons. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not approved for outdoor use; only use it in dry condions. Protect it from high humidi- ty, water and snow. Keep the device away from high temperatures. Do not expose the device to sudden temperature changes or strong vibraons, as this could da- mage the electronic components. Check the device for damage before use. The appliance should not be used if it has been knocked or damaged in any other way. Please observe the naonal re- gulaons and restricons. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instrucons. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or modicaon to the appliance that is not carried out by the original supplier will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The appliance may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instrucons. 8. Disposal instrucons
